Juanita W. Lietzke
Juanita W. Lietzke, 86, formerly of Versailles, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999, at her home in Phoenix, Ariz. She was born in Versailles Jan. 1, 1913, the daughter of Clyde and Nina James Hunter. She was married Oct. 6, 1933, to Donald W. Lietzke of Versailles.
Mrs. Lietzke was a homemaker, a poet, and a Christian.
She is survived by her husband, Don, of the home; four children, Jack Lietzke, Overland Park, Kan., Ferd Lietzke, Georgia Weber, Camdenton; seven grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 16 at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel in Laurie, with the Rev. Father Jim Fuemmeler officiating. Interment was in the Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery in Laurie. Arrangements were under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.

Beverly Yvonne Allen Weaver
Beverly Yvonne Allen Weaver, 63, lifelong resident of the Stover area, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born Sept. 28, 1935, near Stover, the daughter of the late Charlie and Ella Mae Capps Allen.
On Nov. 13, 1952, she married Vinson I. Whittle, who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Douglas E. Weaver on Sept. 23, 1970, and he also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Weaver was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mt. Nebo Gospel Church near Versailles and also attended the Walk of the Water Faith Chapel in Osage Beach.
She is survived by four sons, Billy Lee Whittle, Stover, Robert Ronald Whittle, Gravois Mills, Vinson Jack Whittle and Ricky Day Weaver, both of Stover; five daughters, Sharon Kay Francis, Versailles, Suzanne B. Donovan, Sedalia, Lela Jean Crabtree, Versailles, Beverly Jill Edgar, Bowling Green , Ky., and Rabecca Ann Klindworth, Stover; two sisters, Ollie Webb, Stover, and Frieda Baker, Cowgill; 28 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Frank Sutton, Earnest Sutton, Lester Allen, Bruce Allen and Donald Allen; and two sisters, Grace Sutton and Eileen Dishman.
Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 16, at the Scrivner-Morrow Chapel in Stover, with the Rev. Wilford Whittle officiating. Tape selections of ÒIÕll Rise AgainÓ and ÒHeÕs AliveÓ were played. Interment was in the Stover Cemetery, with Ronnie Whittle, Robert Klindworth, Jeff Whittle, James Donovan, Milfred Monteer and Ira Webb serving as casketbearers.
Memorial contributions were suggested to the Kenneth Copeland Ministries. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover.

Norman J. Williams
Norman J. Williams, 69, Eldon, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999 at Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City. He was born Aug 18, 1929, at High Point, the son of the Rev. N.E. Williams and Ruth Medlen.
Mr. Williams was a 1947 graduate of Eldon High School. He served four years in U.S. Army. After military service, he enrolled in the University of Dunn in Carthage. In December of 1959, he returned to Eldon and established his own law practice. He closed the practice after he was first elected Judge in 1978. During his years of public service, Williams served as Miller CountyÕs associate circuit judge for 12 years. He also served seven terms, 14 years, as Miller County prosecutor. He served as the appointed city attorney at Eldon for 18 years. He served on assignment as a circuit judge in the counties of the 26th Judicial Circuit, Miller, Morgan, Moniteau, Camden and Laclede, and in other areas of the state on assignment by the Missouri Bar Association. He was past president of the Miller County Bar Association and operated his private practice from April 1991 until his retirement in October of 1996.
He is survived by a daughter, Jeanette Kay Baquet, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday, Jan. 20 at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randall Bunch officiating. Interment was in the High Point Cemetery, High Point. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church, Eldon, or the American Cancer Society.

Jonathan James Wilson and Jacob Wayne Wilson
Jonathan James Wilson and Jacob Wayne Wilson, Linn, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999, at Boone Hospital, Columbia.
They were born Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999, at Boone Hospital, Columbia, the sons of Timothy Wade Wilson and Heather Lynn Sutton, Linn.
In addition to their parents, they are survived by grandparents, James and Mary (Libby) Wilson, Sedalia, and Eugene and Linda Schumacher, Versailles; and great-grandparents, Sylvia Wilson, Georgetown, Betty and Dee Baker, Dunnigan, and Bob and Hazel Kreisel, Cole Camp.
The twins were preceded in death by their grandfather, Jerry Sutton Sr.
The funeral was Monday, January 18 at the Ewing Funeral Home, Sedalia, with the Rev. Susan McHugh officiating. Burial was in the Dresden Cemetery, Dresden.

Selma Geary
Selma Lydia Gesina Geary, 85, Savannah, formerly of Stover, died Friday, April 9, 1999, at the Savannah Health Care Center in Savannah.
She was born March 31, 1914, near Stover, the daughter of the late Gerd and Mary Weinberg Tietjen. She was united in marriage to C. Wraymond Geary on Nov. 11, 1934, in Clinton, and he preceded her in death on May 7, 1980.
Mrs. Geary was a graduate of Stover High School. She was a homemaker and also assisted her husband in operating the Geary Oil Company in Stover for 43 years. She was a member of the Stover United Methodist Church, were she taught Sunday school for many years, served as church co-treasurer and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She moved to Savannah in 1980 from Stover.
She is survived by one son, Dr. Lanny Geary, Kennett; one daughter, Myrna Schroder, Savannah; one brother, Herbert Tietjen, Columbus, Ind.; one sister, Lorraine DeLong, Sacramento, Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
She was born Sept. 30, 1932, in Fort Smith, Ark., the daughter of the late Ralph W. and Pauline Weishaupt Cummins. She was united in marriage to Donald Garber on Feb. 23, 1951, in Kansas City, and he survives at their home.
Mrs. Garber was a homemaker. She had been an active member of the Parent, Teacher Association, serving on the local and state levels. She was a member of the Christian Church of the Ozarks near Ivy Bend, where she was involved in various functions within the church. She had resided in the Ivy Bend/Stover area for several years after moving from the Kansas City area.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, David Garber, North Platte, Neb., Audrey Grimes, Smithville, and Kenneth Garber, Gladstone; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, April 7 at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover, with the Rev. Terry Rhodes officiating. Music selections of "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art" were played. Graveside services were Wednesday, April 7 at the Urich Cemetery in Urich, with the Rev. Bill Ray officiating. The memorial contributions were suggested to the Ivy Bend First Responders. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover.

Mary M. Allen
Mary M. Allen, 76, Sunrise Beach, died Thursday evening, April 8, 1999, at Lake of the Ozark General Hospital in Osage Beach. She was born Feb. 19, 1923, in Kansas City.
On July 11, 1975, she married Paul E. Allen, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Allen was a retired accountant and bookkeeper, She was a member of the First Baptist Church Sunrise Beach, and former member of the Whitechurch Baptist and the Welborn Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kan. For 40 years, she was involved teaching Sunday school to young children.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven daughters, Beverly Whittle, Eldon, Charlotte Allen and Cindy Osborne, both of Kansas City, Barbara Allen, Frederick, Md., Betty Anderson, McPherson, Kan., Jeanie Craig, Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Susan Dwyer, Arlington Texas; two sons, John Allen, Lenexa, Kan., and Steve Allen, Kansas City; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial services were held Monday, April 12 at the First Baptist Church Sunrise Beach, with the Rev. John Edwards officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church Sunrise Beach Building Fund. Arrangements were under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.
