Hilda Buchheit
Hilda S. (Leible) Buchheit of Perryville, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville. She was 89.
She was born April 16, 1913 in Longtown, the daughter of the late Louis and Theresa (Unterreiner) Leible. She was married Nov. 5, 1935 at Apple Creek to Isidore W. Buchheit, who preceded her in death April 7, 1994.
Survivors include two sons, Glennon (Carol) Buchheit of Perryville and Stanley (Rita) Buchheit of Ste. Genevieve; four daughters, Eleanor Unterreiner of Perryville, Placida "Penny" (Leroy) Ruessler of Perryville, Rosella (David) Bohnert of Perryville, and Marcella (Richard) Renner of Arnold; three sisters, Leola Funke of Longtown, Flora Berkbuegler and Rose Renner, both of Perryville; 18 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, one brother, and one grandson.
Mrs. Buchheit was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish at Apple Creek and the Ladies Sodality.
The family prefers memorials be made to donor's choice or Southeast Hospice.
The funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek, with the Rev. Mark Bozada officiating. Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery at Apple Creek.
Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville, provided the arrangements.

Edwin H. Hutteger
Edwin H. Huttegger of Troy, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was 78.
He was born on June 16, 1921 in Neelys Landing, the son of Edward and Emma (Penrod) Huttegger. He was married on Dec. 5, 1942 in San Diego, Texas; Paul (Gloria) Huttegger, Troy; and Stanley (Carol) Huttegger, Maryland Heights; one sister, Hilda Bock, Frohna; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; one son, Timothy Huttegger; one brother, Alvin Huttegger and two sisters, Ella Pfeiffer and Lena Gemeinhart.
Mr. Huttegger served in the U.S. Marines during World War II. He was a service technician at Laclede Gas. Co. in St. Louis for over 22 years and he was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Troy.
The family prefers memorials to be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, c/o McCoy and Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, Mo. 63379.
The funeral service was held on Wednesday, Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Troy. Burial was in the Troy City Cemetery.

Nadene Massa
Nadene Massa of Perryville died Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, in Perryville. She was 67.
She was born July 13, 1932, in Jackson, the daughter of the late Deneen Smith and Mary Jane (Virgin) Elliott.
Survivors include one brother, Gary Elliott of San Angelo, Georgia M. (Rhodes) Killian. He was married June 10, 1951 to Geraldine (Sutterer) Killian who preceded him in death March 29, 1971. He then was married June 14, 1975 to Wilma C. (Ruch) Welker Killian, who survives in Perryville.
Other survivors include one step-son, Rodney B. (Suzanne) Welker of Hermann; two brothers, Oscar L. (Doris) Killian of Sarasota, Fla. and Kenneth E. (Jeanette) Killian of Perryville; and one sister-in-law, Mary (Ben) Wichern of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Killian was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a grocery clerk and produce manager for A & P Grocery Store. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, V.F.W., the American Legion, and was a third degree Knight of Columbus.
The family prefers memorials to be made to Southeast Hospice.
Visitation will also be from 6:30 a.m. until 9:50 a.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 26 at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be provided by Moonier-Reddick American Legion Post 133.

Eddy L. Ledbetter
Eddy L. Ledbetter of Hazelwood, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000 at his residence. He was 74.
He was born Aug. 29, 1926 in Springfield, Ark. the son of the late William and Hazel (Theiss) Ledbetter. He was married to Verdie G. (Friel) Ledbetter who survives in St. Louis.
Other survivors include seven daughters, Linda Scholl of Fenton; Barbara Setger of Hazelwood, Rhonda France of Altenburg; Norma Laubach of Paragould, Ark.; Debra Messer of Hazelwood; Penny Estes of Godfrey, Ill.; and Pamela Jones of Hazelwood; three sons, Eddy Ledbetter and Gary Ledbetter both of Columbia and Roger Ledbetter of Calif.; and Darlene (Richard) Mueller of Columbia; one sister and one sister-in-law, Gladys Spreen of Hooper, Neb. and Hilda Luehrs of Perryville; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one grandchild, Christopher Detjen; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler Steffens and Sarah Lorenz.
Mrs. Detjen was a home maker. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and LWML in Farrar.
The family prefers memorials to be made to Salem Capital Improvement Fund, Lutheran Hour, or KFUO.
The funeral service was held Sunday, Dec. 24 at 1 pm. at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar with the Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Lucius W. Huber
Lucius W. Huber of Perryville, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville. He was 83.
He was born Sept. 18, 1917 in Perry County, the son of the late Fred B. and May F. (Roy) Huber. He was married June 23, 1946 to Bessie E. (Valleroy) Huber, who preceded him in death March 8, 1993.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Ron Merk of St. Louis; one sister, Doris Elder of Perryville; and one grandson, Todd Merk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one grandson, Brian Merk.
Mr. Huber was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a pharmacist's assistant. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Third Degree Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post 133, and V.F.W. Post 4282.
The family prefers memorials to be made to Cancer Research or St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with the Rev. Kevin Fausz C.M. officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Dorothy Goller
Dorothy Goller of San Deigo, Calif. She was 92.
She was born Oct. 1, 1908, the daughter of the late Christopher and Christina Goller, formerly of Frohna.
Ms. Goller was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Irma and one brother, Fred.
