illness.

BALLWIN, Mo. - Elsworth E. Carpenter, age 69,
of Ballwin, Mo., a former Joplin resident,
passed away Sunday, June 23, 2002, at the
St. John’s Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.,
following a sudden illness.

Emma Dean Wolfinbarger
Emma Dean Wolfinbarger, age 71, Neosho, died
at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2002, at a Neosho
nursing home, following a courageous battle
with cancer.

Everett F. Rector
Everett Forrest Rector, 68, Lamar, Mo., passed
away late Saturday afternoon, June 22, 2002.
Everett had suffered a heart attack, entering
Freeman Hospital, Joplin, April 21.
He had returned home to “The Farm” Wednesday
afternoon, June 19.
