Cora Ingram

LAMAR, Mo. - Cora Lee Ingram, 83, Lamar, died at 3:40 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at Barton County Memorial Hospital, Lamar, after a long illness.

Mrs. Ingram was born July 21, 1913, at Liberal.

She had lived in Barton County for 40 years. She was a retired beautician.

Survivors include two sons, Albert Eugene Evans, Yucca Valley, Calif., and Tommy Lee Evans, Palm Springs, Calif.; a sister, Jennie Mae, whose last name was unavailable, state of Oregon; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The body will be cremated.

No services are planned.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar.

Raymond Larson

GRANBY, Mo. - Raymond Roger Larson, 58, Granby, died at 12:50 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at a Seneca nursing home after a long illness.

Mr. Larson was born Jan. 9, 1939, at Big Falls, Minn.

He was a heavy-equipment mechanic.

He married Sandra Boldt on May 13, 1960, at Las Vegas, Nev. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Raymond Roger Larson Jr., Omaha, Neb., and Bobby Lee "Bob" Larson, Blaine, Wash.; two brothers, Walter Larson, state of South Carolina, and David Larson, state of Florida; five sisters, Doris Etney, Warren, Minn., Evy Etney, Minneapolis, Minn., Violet Cline, Billings, Mont., Myrna Hogan, state of Minnesota, and Lola Kostrzewski, Granby; and 13 grandchildren.

The body will be cremated.

No services are planned.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.

Ralph Martin

CARL JUNCTION, Mo. - Granville Ralph Martin, 81, 200 Karen Drive, Apt. 14, died at 7:07 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin, of a short illness.

Mr. Martin was born April 30, 1915, at Cherokee County, Kan.

He had worked for Spencer Chemical Plant and Bruner Pharmacy, both of Carl Junction, and Eagle-Picher Industries and Missouri Southern State College, both of Joplin.

He was a farmer and a painter.

He was a member of United Methodist Church, Carl Junction, Joplin Scottish Rite, Carl Junction Masonic Lodge No. 549 and the Order of the Eastern Star.

He married Irene Connell on Sept. 14, 1952, at Carl Junction. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, David Martin, Rogers, Ark.; a daughter, Marlene McLaughlin, Manassas, Va.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church, Carl Junction, with ceremonies by Masonic Lodge No. 549.

The Rev. Bob Simon will officiate.

Burial will be in Carl Junction Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jim Wisdom, Ernie LeGrande, Paul Cupp, Raymond Bischoff, Dan Adams and Cecil Smith.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home, Carl Junction.

Contributions may be made to the Carl Junction First United Methodist Church building fund.

Laura Rausch

MONETT, Mo. - Laura Emma Rausch, 98, Monett, died at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, at her home after a long illness.

Mrs. Rausch was born March 9, 1898 at Monett.

She was a lifetime resident.

She was a homemaker and attended Liberty United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Albert Rausch, died in 1972.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Rausch, Monett, and Maurice Rausch, Homewood, Ill.; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.

The Rev. Charlie Robinson will officiate.

Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Monett.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to Loaves and Fishes, in care of the funeral home.

Robert Schopp

MILLER, Mo. - Robert James Schopp, 73, Miller, died at 9:07 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, of an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Schopp was born Nov. 9, 1923, at Sioux City, Iowa.

He operated a service station for many years in Salix, Iowa.

He moved in 1969 to the Miller area.

He owned and operated the Castle Rock business for 16 years near Miller until he retired.

He married Patsy Ann Smith on March 24, 1953, at Onawa, Iowa. She survives.

Also surviving are a son, Robert Lee Schopp, Miller; a brother, Ed Schopp, San Antonio, Texas; and a sister, Jean Yanak, Salix.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller Memorial Gardens Cemetery, south of Miller.

The Rev. Bob Holman will officiate.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, where family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.

Contributions may be made to Reeds Springs (Mo.) Humane Society in care of the funeral home.

William Turner

NEOSHO, Mo. - William Thomas Turner, 60, 306 Brook St., died at 8:35 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage, after two months of ill health.

Mr. Turner was born April 6, 1936, at Springfield, where he lived most of his life.

He moved to Neosho two months ago.

He worked for Tyson Foods in Neosho.

He married Maxine Gossett on Feb. 17, 1989, at Eureka Springs, Ark. She survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Shirley Marie, state of California, and Teresa Marie, Tulsa, Okla.; three sons, Zane Turner, Crane, Ark., James Turner, state of Hawaii, and Mike Turner, Republic; three stepdaughters, Connie Cox, Rosenberg, Texas, and Lois Hill, Stroud, Okla.; two stepsons, Louie Sisco, Trona, Calif., and Greg Sisco, Watts, Okla.; a brother, Charlie Turner, Springfield; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The body will be cremated.

No services are planned.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.

Frank Vitelli

NEOSHO, Mo. - Frank J. Vitelli, 61, St. Louis, the father of Joanne Gowert, Neosho, died Jan. 29, 1997 at his home in St. Louis after a long illness.

Mr. Vitelli was born July 13, 1935 in New York, N.Y.

He moved to St. Louis a year ago from New Jersey.

He was a disabled veteran of the Navy and had served in Vietnam.

Additional survivors include three sons, Robert Pesco, St. Louis, Frank Pesco, Lodi, Calif. and Anthony Vitelli, St. Louis; another daughter, Christina Spies, Eureka; a brother, John Vitelli, state of Texas; a sister, name and address unavailable; and five grandchildren.

Services were Monday, Feb. 3 at Chulick Funeral Home.

Burial was at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
