Betty J. Ellerbeck (nee Blevins) of Webster Groves died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005.
Mrs. Ellerbeck was the wife of the late Robert L. Ellerbeck; mother of Lori (Jerry) Stumpf; stepmother of Cynthia (Jarrell) Gibbs; grandmother of Robert, Kelly and Suzanne; aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 21, 4 to 8 p.m., at Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood Ave. in Webster Groves. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 22, 10 a.m., at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 7622 Sutherland, in Shrewsbury. Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Little Haven, P.O. Box 23010, St. Louis, Mo. 63156-3010; or Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2001 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, Mo. 63131.

Eleanor Martha Emigh (nee Harris) of Kirkwood died Monday, July 18, 2005.
Mrs. Emigh was the wife of Ward Emigh; mother of Stephen (Roxane) Emigh, David Emigh, Donald (Debbie) Emigh, Emily (Russell) Kuttenkuler and Mary (Randy) Brobst; grandmother of Angelique (Christopher) Spann, Brian (Jennifer) (great-grandbaby) Emigh, Kristin, Lisa and Ann Kuttenkuler, Margot, Melissa, Jonathan and Hannah Brobst; great-grandmother of Amanda and Dylan Spann; sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Thelma Harris, and her brother, Stephen Harris.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 22, 9 a.m., at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road in Kirkwood. Interment, Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials to the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, 525 Couch Ave., Kirkwood, Mo. 63122; or a charity of one's choice.

Mary Lois Engelbreit (nee Stedelin) of Kirkwood died Wednesday, March 2, 2005.
Mrs. Engelbreit was the wife of the late Robert Engelbreit; mother of Mary (Philip Delano) Engelbreit, Alexa (Stephen) Anderson and Peggy (Brian) Gallagher; grandmother of Evan, Will, Hannah, Michael and Rebecca; great-grandmother of Mikayla and Courtney; sister of Audrey Whalen; friend to many, including her long-standing friends in the "Club."
Interment, Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Bopp Chapel.

June M. Etter (nee Roth), a 55-year resident of Webster Groves died Friday, March 25, 2005, at her home.
Mrs. Etter worked at the Hair Affair in Old Orchard for 15 years. She was the wife of Lynn E. Etter; mother of Gary (Jeannie) and Dale (Christy) Etter; grandmother of Austin, Lindsey, Megan, Kelsy, Katie and Jeff; sister of Dodie (Bill) Musbach, Latum (Jim) Perry and Jane Boeger; sister-in-law of Melvin Etter, Dorothy Krieg, the late Hazel Dean and Siebert Etter.
No public services are scheduled. Memorials may be made to Unity Health Hospice, 1000 Des Peres Road, Suite 200B, St. Louis, Mo. 63131. Arrangements by St. Louis Cremation.

Elaine M. Ferre (nee Youngquist) of Kirkwood died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005.
Mrs. Ferre was born in Ludington, Mich. She was the mother of Robert Ferre of Webster Groves and David Ferre of Salem, Ore., and a grandmother.
Interment, private, in Lakeview Cemetery, Ludington, Mich. Arrangements through Gerber Chapel, Webster Groves.

Rita A. Arbini (nee Rouch) of South County died Friday, April 28, 2006.
Mrs. Arbini was the wife of Eugene A. Arbini, owner of Colonial Village Pharmacy in Webster Groves. She was the mother of Deborah (Tim) Mcnamee, Daniel (Kathryn) and Michael (Nancy) Arbini; grandmother of Jennifer, Michael and Patrick, Kevin, Jessica, Adam and Dominic; sister of Jeanette Hardy; aunt, niece and cousin.
A funeral Mass was celebrated May 1, at St. Catherine Laboure Church. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery.

Canascia "Kit" Burke of Webster Groves died Tuesday, April 25, 2006.
Mrs. Burke was the wife of Paul H. Burke; mother of Damian (Mary) Burke; sister-in-law and friend to many. A memorial gathering was held April 30, at Gerber Chapel in Webster Groves, with a memorial Mass celebrated Monday, May 1, at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Interment private.

Mary M. Dale (nee Wilson) of Webster Groves died Friday, April 28, 2006. She was 80.
Mrs. Daly was the mother of Kevin Daly, Kim (Phil) Bushman, Shawn (Carolyn) Daly, Robin Daly and the late J. Mark Daly; grandmother of Colin, Cory, Caitlin, Tiffany, Lauren, Alex, Aaron, Ian and the late Christopher Daly.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 6, 11 a.m., at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, 45 W. Lockwood Ave. Family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stephen's Ministry, c/o Webster Groves Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by Gerber Chapel.

Robert L. Feldmann, formerly of Webster Groves died Saturday, April 29, 2006, at Brooking Park nursing facility in Chesterfield. He was 82, and had suffered a stroke last year.
Mr. Feldmann served 26 years as president of Columbia Iron Works, a company co-founded by his father. He grew up in south St. Louis, and earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from Washington University. He served in the Army during World War II as a gunner on the Queen Mary. He also served during the Korean War.
Mr. Feldmann was a deacon, elder and trustee at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church; a leader of Boy Scout Troop 308; and had served as a docent at the St. Louis Zoo.
Mr. Feldmann was the husband of Irene Feldmann for 60 years; father of Robert N. Feldmann, Richard B. Feldmann, Barbara Bross and Linda MacDonald; grandfather of nine; great-grandfather of six.
A memorial service was held May 3, at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church. Interment, private. Memorials may be made to the St. Louis Zoo, One Government Drive, St. Louis, Mo. 63110. Arrangements by Gerber Chapel.

Margery S. Fortney of Webster Groves died Monday, April 24, 2006, of natural causes after a brief illness. She was 85.
The former Margery Wyckeham Shaut, she was born in Louisville, Ky., on June 15, 1920, and grew up in Coral Gables, Fla. A devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Fortney supported her husband's military career from the time he entered the Army on the eve of World War II until he retired 22 years later. Her tireless energy and optimism served the family well as they moved frequently around the country and twice to Europe.
She and her husband, Col. Camden Page Fortney Jr., U.S. Army-retired, lived in Upper Montclair, N.J., for four years after he transitioned from the Army. They then lived in Miami, Fla., for 27 years and for another nine years in Melbourne, Fla., before moving to the St. Louis area three years ago to be near their son John.
Mrs. Fortney is survived by her husband of 67 years and their four children, Camden Page Fortney III, Anne Fortney Riddell, Dr. John Paul Fortney Sr. and Dr. Robert Peter Fortney.; and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Fortney will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the March of Dimes, www.marchofdimes.com; or the Humane Society of the United States, www.hsus.org. Arrangements by Gerber Chapel.

Dr. Hobart B. "Bart" Geurin of Webster Groves died Thursday, April 19, 2006. He was 83.
Dr. Bart was a graduate of Purdue University and UMSL, and a long time employee of Ralston Purina. He was the husband of Betty (nee Richmond) Geurin; father of Brad and Brian Geurin and Julie (Jay) Beattey; grandfather of Matt, Tim, Amy, Katie, Jessica and Jackie; brother of Gilbert (Robin) Geurin; uncle, great-uncle and friend to many.
Funeral services were held April 22, at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church. Interment, Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore, Ill.

Raymond Ernest Gowan of Kirkwood died Friday, April 28, 2006.
In 1991, Mr. Gowan retired after 31 years with the Kirkwood Police Department. His assignments during the years included patrol, traffic, community services and safety education officer. Prior to working for Kirkwood, he served in the National Guard for 14 years. His military assignments included a year and a half in Germany during the Korean War.
In 1962, then a member of Company D, 880th Engineer Battalion, Missouri Army National Guard, Mr. Gowan helped secure equipment and resources for construction of a roadway through Kirkwood Park to the Rifle Range building.
The engineers of Company D constructed the road, initially paved with gravel, at no cost to the city. Because the city did not have enough money for culverts, Mr. Gowan contacted Lane-Western Well Drilling, which donated materials to complete the project.
Mr. Gowan was a member of Amvets Post 1, where he was 1st Vice Commander. He and his wife, Joan, were honored as Mr. and Mrs. Amvets at the Amvets State Convention in Jefferson City in 2005.
Mr. Gowan was the husband of Joan (nee Magill); father of Sherry Gowan and the late Terry Gowan; stepfather of Cheryl (Dave) Kiurski and Steven Davis; uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to many.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 5, 10 a.m., at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road in Kirkwood. Interment, Woodlawn Cemetery in DeSoto. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to BackStoppers, P.O. Box 66927, St. Louis, Mo. 63166.

Marie T. Saliga (nee Netteler) of Webster Groves died Monday, May 1, 2006.
Mrs. Saliga was the wife of Philip R. Saliga; mother of David Saliga, Stephen (Linda) Saliga, Ann (Paul) Murphy and Catherine (Ron) Breville; grandmother of Andrew, Joseph, Matthew, Elizabeth, Thomas and Caroline; friend of Sr. Kathleen Donnelly O.P.; aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 5, 10 a.m., at Our Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 17 Joy Ave. in Webster Groves. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Redeemer School Tuition Assistance.

A memorial service for former Webster Groves resident William F. Woo, who died April 12, will be held Friday, May 12, 7:30 p.m., at Graham Chapel on the campus of Washington University. A reception will follow in the lounge of the Women's Building.
