Morteza Miramadi of Kirkwood died on Thursday, June 23, 2005. He was the husband of Judith Miramadi (nee Clover); father of Soraya Nittinger (Mike), Kam R. Miramadi (Imogen), Sara LeRoi (Charlie), Sadie Haynes (Paul); grandfather of Luke, , Sophia and Scarlett. Mr. Miramadi was a Persian rug salesman for many years.
Services were private. Donations to charity of one's choice appreciated. Services by Bopp Chapel in Kirkwood.

John Francis Molloy of Kirkwood died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005. He was 89.
Mr. Molloy was the husband of the late Roselba S. Molloy; brother of Msgr. Patrick Joseph Molloy and the late Michael Molloy; father of Dolly Molloy of Kirkwood, Chuck (Yvonne) Molloy of Ballwin, Jay (Maureen) Molloy of Kirkwood and Terri M. White of Alexandria, Va.; grandfather of Louie Buckman, Chris White, Brian White, Matt Molloy, John G. Molloy, Adam Molloy, Nick Molloy, Jessica Molloy.
A memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Gerard Majella Church on Feb. 5. At his direction, his body has been donated to St. Louis University Medical School. Memorials to Our Lady's Inn, 4223 S. Compton, St. Louis, Mo. 63111; 351-4590; www.ourladysinn.org

Lucille C. Monroe (nee Dingerson) of Webster Groves died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005.
Mrs. Monroe was the wife of the late Paul A. Monroe; mother of Bob Monroe of San Jose, Calif., Gail (Dennis) Crosson and Linda (Jim) Yust; grandmother of Todd, Tim, Kris and Jason; aunt, great-aunt and friend to many.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, Feb. 1, at First Congregational Church of Webster Groves. Memorials to First Congregational Church of Webster Groves, 10 W. Lockwood Ave., Webster Groves, Mo. 63119. Arrangements by Gerber Chapel.

Marty Morefield, a librarian for the Webster Groves School District for 35 years died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, after a long illness. She was 79.
Mrs. Morefield worked at Bristol Primary and Avery schools for many years. She was the wife of the late Milton L. Morefield; mother of David Todd Morefield and Laurie Ann Morefield; grandmother of Taylor, Melissa, Hana, Robbie and Tori.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 19, 1 p.m., at Rock Hill Presbyterian Church, 9704 Manchester Road.

Daniel J. "Dan" Mudd of Webster Groves died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005. He was 45.
Mr. Mudd was the general manager of Cicero's Restaurant in University City since November 1991. He was an avid pool player and a member of the American Pool Player Association.
Mr. Mudd was the husband of Lynda (nee Schucart); father of Juddson Daniel "Judd"; brother of Ellen (John) Blaha of Columbus, Ohio, John (Mary) Mudd of Houston, Texas, Charles (Margaret) Mudd of Orlando, Fla., James (Olivia) Mudd of Paducah, Ky., Christopher (Jeanine) Mudd of Eugene, Ore., and Carrie (Jeffrey) Nelson of St. Louis; uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 1, at Gerber Chapel. Interment, St. Paul Churchyard. Memorials to the Juddson Mudd Educational Trust Fund, c/o Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood Ave., Webster Groves, Mo. 63119.

Thomas Michael Murphy of Des Peres died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, at St. John's Mercy medical Center. He was 41.
Mr. Murphy was the son of Robert and Agnes Redington Murphy; brother of Jennifer Turek (Eric Kuhlmann), Maureen (Steve) Midgley, Robert E.Murphy Jr., Peggy (Bill) Guggina, Terri (David) Lewis, Karen Murphy (Joe Valdez) and the late Andrew Murphy; uncle of 10, nephew, cousin and friend to many.
Funeral services were held Jan. 23, at Bopp Chapel. Interment, St. Peter Cemetery, Kirkwood. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd St., Suite 1100, New York, N.Y. 10016.

Dean Trowbridge Murray of Kirkwood died suddenly at home on Friday, Sept. 2, 2005.
Mr. Murray was born on April 27, 1959 in Battle Creek, Mich., to Frank Trowbridge Murray and Suzanne Brooks Murray. He was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was a state ranked swimming champion and a member of the All American Relay Swim Team. He attended the University of Wyoming, where he studied farm and ranch management and also became a certified diesel mechanic.
Mr. Murray moved to St. Louis and started a Sparks Tune-Up franchise, as well as helped raise two children, Dawn and Drew McCausland. He became co-owner of Comb's Tire and Auto Center.
In 1995, he met Lori Ann Rector, owner of the Eastlake Inn Bed and Breakfast. They were introduced by friends in the Kirkwood Area Chamber of Commerce, and were married on Aug. 10, 1996.
Mr. Murray and his wife loved to go boating and take all four of their golden retrievers, who loved to swim. In August 2001, the Murrays purchased 60 acres in Calhoun County, Ill. Mr. Murray renovated a cabin built in the 1850s with the help of best friends Ric Kremer and Michael Jones. In April 2002, he and his wife started a peach orchard. They also raised berries and tomatoes.
Mr. Murray was the husband of Lori; son of Frank and Suzanne Murray; son-in-law of Allen and Shirley Rector; stepfather of Dawn and Drew McCausland; brother of Brooks (Alan) Goodyear, Lawrence (Mary) Murray, and Jenny (Tom) Gormley; brother-in-law of Michelle (Dwain) Sliger; uncle and friend to many.
A Memorial Celebration of Life was held Sept. 6, at Concordia Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to Support Dogs, Inc., 11645 Lilburn Park Road, St. Louis, Mo. 63146. Arrangements by Bopp Chapel.

Maxine Beatrice "Billie" Nash (nee Wallace) of Webster Groves died Monday, Jan. 24. 2005.
Mrs. Nash was born April 26, 1911, in Chicago, Ill. She was the wife of the late Wesley King Nash; mother of Joan Nash (Lee) Savage of Palm Harbor, Fla., Nancy Nash (Randall) Alt of St. Louis, Wesley King (Terri) Nash Jr. of Green River, Wyo., and the late Carol Ann Nash; grandmother ("Honey") to Bret, Terri, Brian (Lori) Savage, Tracy (John) Taylor, Abigail (Christopher) Marshall, Christopher (Amy) Alt, Kimberly, David (Asami), Jeffrey (Jennifer) and Kevin Nash; great-grandmother of 12.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 28, 3 to 7 p.m., at Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood Ave. in Webster Groves. Services private. Memorials may be made to Children's Home Society of Missouri, 9445 Litzsinger, St. Louis, Mo. 63144; or the charity of one's choice.

Eileen M. Neely (nee Stoeppelmann) of Kirkwood died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005. She was 81.
Mrs. Neely was the wife of James M. Neely; mother of Jeanne M. (Greg) Lawrence, Tom J. (Marta) Neely and Tim D. (Laura) Neely; grandmother of Jamie, Tom Jr., Christina, Jason, Jessica, Melissa and Stacey; sister of Kenneth (Esther) Stoeppelmann and Virginia (Harold) Basham; sister-in-law of Marilyn Nerl (the late Clifford) and the late Lu Reim (the late Bob); aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 11, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood. Memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, 505 S. Kirkwood Road, Kirkwood, Mo. 63122.

Frank Peter Niet of Kirkwood died Tuesday, June 7, 2005.
Mr. Niet was the husband of Mary Niet (nee Foreman); father of Charles Niet, Tim Niet and Lauri (Gary) Gerstenecker; grandfather of Gottlieb; brother of Anna (Roger) Hunt of Georgetown, Texas; brother-in-law and friend to manay.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, June 10, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Kirkwood. Interment, St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 102454, Atlanta, Ga. 30368-2454. Arrangements by Bopp Chapel, Kirkwood.

Mary Jane Noll (nee Bruce) of Kirkwood died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005.
Mrs. Noll was born in 1918 in Kansas City, Kan. She was an accomplished pianist. She gained a recording contract with Columbia Records in 1937, and made her debut at Carnegie Hall the following year. She continued performing until her marriage.
Mrs. Noll was the wife of the late Jack W. Noll of Cleveland, Ohio; mother of Nancy Noll Hayse of Kirkwood, William George Noll II of Milton, W.V., Marcia Bruce Bush of Valencia, Calif., and Todd Hamilton Noll (Mary Newlove) of Perrysburg, Ohio; grandmother of Mike and Jennifer Burger of Shawnee Mission, Kan., Mary Susan Noll of Long Island, N.Y., and Joe and Maggie Fawcett of Perrysburg, Ohio.
The family extends its enormous gratitude to Dr. Edward Reh of Kirkwood, and to the friends and co-workers of Mrs. Noll's children. No services are planned. Memorials may be made to SSM Hospice, 10143 Paget Drive, St. Louis, Mo. 63132; or to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements by Bopp Chapel.

Corinne Norman of Webster Groves died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005.
Born Corinne Holland in 1924 in Columbus, Ohio, she and her mother moved to Manhattan, Kan., in 1936 after the untimely death of her father. In 1946 she earned a degree in education at Antioch College.
Mrs. Norman and her family moved to Webster Groves in 1958, where she taught in St. Louis public schools before retiring in 1986. She was a tireless volunteer for many organizations, including the Magic House, Reading is Fundamental, and Sunday school and summer Bible study at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church.
She was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in 2004; complications led to her death.
Mrs. Norman was the wife of the late Wade Norman; mother of David, Bruce (Teresa) and Craig (Lori); grandmother of Allison, Travis, Thomas, Jennifer and Tyler; friend and relative to many.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 10, 10 a.m., at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, 45 W. Lockwood Ave. Memorials may be made to the church, or to the ALS Association St. Louis Regional Chapter, 5615 Pershing Avenue, Suite 20, St. Louis, Mo. 63112.

Dorothy Baumstark O'Brien of Pasadena, Calif., formerly of Kirkwood died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005.
Ms. O'Brien grew up in Kirkwood. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Malvina (Mundwiller) Baumstark; sister of the late Leroy Baumstark, the late Harry Baumstark (Ann Tierney) and the late Walter Baumstark (Mary Schilling); sister-in-law of June B. Baumstark; aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Funeral arrangements to be announced. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Interment, Hermann, Mo.

Mave Catherine O'Brien of Kirkwood died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005. She was 26 years old.
In 1997, Ms. O'Brien became the first student with multiple disabilities to attend Kirkwood High School. She was profiled in the Oct. 16, 1998 issue of the Webster-Kirkwood Times, and in the Kirkwood Call, Kirkwood High School's newspaper.
Ms. O'Brien was born three months prematurely, in Anchorage, Alaska. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy, she was blind, unable to walk, and had limited communication capabilities. Despite her disabilities, she was able to excel as an artist and disabilities awareness activist.
While at Kirkwood High School, Ms. O'Brien ate lunch in the cafeteria with the rest of the students; took classes that included marching band, where she would listen to the music; and took a weights and conditioning class.
Ms. O'Brien worked in clay, and her art was shown internationally. She was also a member of Show-Me ADAPT, a grassroots disability rights organization, and had attended national ADAPT actions. The focus of the group is to change national policies in favor of disabled people living in the community, instead of institutions. Ms. O'Brien helped design the logo for Show-Me ADAPT.
Ms. O'Brien was the daughter of Mary O'Brien and Dan O'Brien; niece, cousin, friend, teacher and inspiration to many. She was the granddaughter of James and the late Juanita Randolph, and the late Dorothy and Eugene O'Brien.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 8, at St. Francis Xavier College Church. Her remains will be laid to rest with her grandmother, Juanita Randolph in Daytona Beach, Fla. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Xavier Church, Memorial for Mave O'Brien, 3628 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, Mo. 63108; or to a fund set up in her name at Pioneer Bank and Trust, 333 S. Kirkwood Road, Kirkwood, Mo. 63122.
