Zion Church, former resident of Clover, S.C., former member of Unity A.M.E. Zion Church, moved to Charlotte in 1953, joined Little Rock A.M.E. Zion Church, served on Missionary Society, Deaconess and Stewardess boards, Sunday school teacher and class leader.

Wilson, wife of the late Lloyd Jackson Atkins, attended Ashley High School, Gastonia, second runner-up in the 1938 Miss North Carolina Pageant, proprietor of the Vanity Beauty Shop, Gastonia, for 35 years before moving to Hendersonville and continuing her career for 20 more years.
