Timothy (Timmy) James Fogleman, 30, of 1572 Glenn Fogleman Rd., Rougemont, died Sunday, July 22, 2012. Born in Person County, Mr. Fogleman was the son of the late Gilbert and Eunice Saunders Fogleman. Mr. Fogleman was a designer with MS Signs and a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. He was an avid baseball and softball player. He was a loving brother and uncle and he loved his extended family.
Mr. Fogleman is survived by his sister, Christie Oakley and husband Tommy of Rougemont and his niece Savannah Oakley and his nephew Kamden Oakley.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church by the Rev. Barry Chambers. Burial will follow in Person Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-7:30 PM Tuesday at Mt. Harmony Bapitst Church and other times at the home of his sister, Christie, 1553 Glenn Fogleman Road, Rougemont, NC 27572.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Powell, Jeremy Crabtree, Gabriel Loftis, Chase Loftis, Michael Riley, Ronnie Wesley, Brent Avery, Greg Adcock, and Bradley Taylor.

Catherine Tingen Oliver

Catherine Tingen Oliver 84 of 3620 Melrose Drive died Friday July 20, 2012. Born in Person County daughter of the late Otha Horace Tingen & Bessie Long Tingen, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over sixty years Giles Hurley Oliver and one son Giles Samuel Oliver. Mrs. Oliver was a retired cafeteria manager and a member of Long View United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons Bruce Ronald Oliver & wife Beth of Fla., James Daniel Oliver & wife Debi of Cary, one brother R. B. Tingen & wife Tina of Roxboro, four sisters Virginia T. Rhew of Roxboro, Polly T. Cobb of Yanceyville, Ann T. Denny & Marie T. Long both of Richmond, Va. several grandchildren & great-grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM Monday July 23, 2012 at Brooks & White Funeral Home prior to the Service. Graveside Rites will be held 11:00 AM Monday July 23, 2012 at Burchwood Cemetery by Eric Raedatz.

Elbert Carl Evans 70 of Roxboro died Thursday July 19, 2012. Born in Person County son of the late Stephen Ellis Evans & Annie Rogers Evans and husband of the late Edith Lankford Evans. Mr. Evans was an Accountant and attended Surl Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sisters Linda Poole of Roxboro & Wilma Snyder of Norlina.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday July 22, 2012 at Brooks & White Funeral Home Chapel prior to the service and other times at the home of his sister Linda Poole 7009 Dirgie Mine Road Roxboro, NC 27574. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday July 22, 2012 at the Brooks & White Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Victor Blackwell & Pastor Gary Bateman. Interment will follow in the Surl Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Alma Zimmerman Wilkerson 96 of 5660 Durham Road died Thursday July 19, 2012 . Born in Person County daughter of the late Edward B. Zimmerman & Mollie Bet Long, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Roger Wilkerson, three daughters Beatrice Fogleman, Clydie Cates, Carolyn Cates and one son Eddie Wayne Cates. Mrs. Wilkerson was a homemaker and a member of Providence Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son William Cates & wife Linda of Roxboro, two daughters Ruth L. Carter & husband Cecil of Timberlake, Cathy W. Harris & husband Charles G. of Roxboro, one sister Ruth Davis of Roxboro, eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday July 22, 2012 one hour prior to the service at Providence Baptist Church and other times at the home of her daughter Cathy W. Harris and Charles G. at 209 Henderson Road, Roxboro, NC 27573 . Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday July 22, 2012 at Providence Baptist Church by the Rev. Dennis McDonald & Rev. Avery Dalton. Interment will follow in the Grace Independent Baptist Church Cemetery.

Alice Fowler Gordon 84 of 444 Tanglewood Circle died Thursday July 19, 2012. Born in Granville County daughter of the late Mack Fowler & Lillian Gooch Fowler, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Gordon, her sister Edith Averitt and her brother Carlton Bryant Fowler. Mrs. Gordon was retired from Penny Furniture Company in Oxford and a member of Ca-Vel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter Roberta Powell of Roxboro, a grandson Robert Powell & wife Jacqueline & a granddaughter Caroline Powell.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday July 23, 2012 at Brooks & White Funeral Home prior to the service and other times at the home. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday July 23, 2012 at the Brooks & White Chapel by the Rev. Ross Thompson. Interment will follow in Creedmoor City Cemetery.

William Archie Wrenn

William Archie Wrenn, age 88 of 1825 Virgilina Rd. died Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Born in Person County, he was the son of the late John Beam Wrenn and Dollie Walker Wrenn and husband of the late Betty Gentry Wrenn. Mr. Wrenn was a WWII Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was the owner and operator of Archie's General Merchandise. Mr. Wrenn was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
Survivors include three children, Mel Wrenn and wife Kathy of Roxboro, Gayle Wrenn Troutman and husband Dr. Steve of Mebane, and Mat Wrenn of Roxboro; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Providence Baptist Church by the Rev. Dennis McDonald. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dr. Jason Troutman, Josh Troutman, Daniel Wrenn, Kyle Wrenn, Dr. Steve Garrett, and Tim O'Briant. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deanie Dixon and Jimmy Dixon.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Brooks & White Chapel and other times at the home.
