Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Kracl Funeral Chapel in Schuyler with lay minister Jerry Kracl officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday with the family present and Friday after 10 a.m. There will be a committal service at a later date.

CLARKSON-- Services are pending at Miller Funeral Home for Eldon Nebola, 71, of Clarkson. Mr. Nebola died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, at Alegent Health Memorial Hospital in Schuyler.

MONROE-- Nadine “Rose’’ Smith, 87, of Columbus died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, at her home in Columbus. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Monroe United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bev Hieb officiating. Interment will be in the Okay Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Gass Haney Funeral Home and continue Saturday after 9:30 a.m. at the church with a prayer service at 10:15 a.m.

CLARKSON-- Private family services will be held for Blanche Spanhake, 97, Leigh. Public visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home in Clarkson. Mrs. Spanhake died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home.

Blanche Wuerth
Services for Blanche Wuerth of Dixon, Calif., were Tuesday at Milton Carpenter Funeral Home in Dixon. She was born Oct. 7, 1913, in Springview. She taught school for 10 years in Thurston County until 1946. She married
Walter Wuerth on May 19, 1941. She died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, of natural causes.

ELGIN-- Services for LeRoy J. Zegers, 81, Norfolk, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Boniface Catholic Church here. The Rev. Dan Andrews will officiate with burial in the parish cemetery and military rites by American Legion Post 229 and VFW Post 5816. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Thursday at Huffman’s Brooks Chapel and after 7 p.m. at the church with a 7 p.m. wake. He died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, at the Norfolk Veterans Home, his residence of four years.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Home for Funerals is in charge. Mr. Prewett died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005, at his home following a lengthy illness.
