WEST POINT - John J. Wordekemper, 81, West Point, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point with the Rev. Frank Lordemann officiating and burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery. A wake with Knights of Columbus rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Stokely Funeral Chapel, where visitation will be until 8:30 p.m.

PILGER - Services for Ivan Haist, former mayor of Clarkson, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church here. Age 88, he died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Colonial Manor in Clarkson. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home in Clarkson and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Pilger cemetery with military rites by Cornhusker Post 6419 of the VFW.
