Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Simonson Post 93 of O'Neill. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with an 8 p.m. rosary. He died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at Mercy Hospital in Sioux City.

PILGER - Services for Merlin Andersen, 59, Pilger, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at the United Methodist Church here. The Rev. Cindi Stewart will officiate with burial in the Pilger Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday at Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home in Pilger and continue after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church. He died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Stanton Health Center following an illness.
