Pauline Keane, 75, of Washington Street in Concord died Tuesday at home. She was born in Concord, the daughter of Al and Dorothy (LaFleur) Roberts. She graduated from Concord High School. Keane worked as a waitress for Weeks Restaurant in Concord for more than 25 years. Survivors include two sons, Frank Keane of Allenstown and Thomas Keane of Bow; a daughter, Sherry Haubrick of Concord; a brother, Bill Roberts of Chichester; and 10 grandchildren. Her husband, Edward Keane, died previously. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Waters Funeral Home in Concord is in charge of the arrangements.

Dorothy Allison, ROANOKE, Va

ROANOKE, Va.- Dorothy Allison, 77, formerly of Franklin, died yesterday. She was a member of the Roanoke (Va.) Church of Christ. Survivors include a son, Thomas Allison III of Salem, Va.; three daughters, Judy McWhorter and Janice Overstreet, both of Roanoke, Va., and Joyce Cheek of Cartervile, Mo.; a brother, Carl Farnham of Northport, Fla.; a sister, Helen Crafford of Newbury, Vt.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Her husband, Thomas Allison Jr., died previously. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey Funeral Home in Roanoke, Va. Services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the south chapel of the funeral home. The Rev. Keith Wagner will officiate. Burial will be held in Turnbridge, Vt.

Charlene Bragg, KINGSTON

KINGSTON - Charlene Audrey Bragg, 68, of Lantern Lane and formerly of Canterbury, died at home. She was born in Newburyport, the daughter of Charles Hayden and Florence (Hawkes) Butler. She graduated from Newburyport High School. She lived in Canterbury for four years. Bragg worked as an executive secretary at Sylvania and as secretary to the president at Electronics Products Inc. She was a member of Old South United Presbyterian Church in Newburyport. She was active with the Girl Scouts, Brownies and Cub Scouts. She was a former member of the board of directors of the Newburyport YMCA. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Charles Bragg; her mother of Newburyport; a son, Charles Bragg of Boston and Syracuse, N.Y.; a daughter, Teri Bragg; and many nieces and nephews. A sister, Elinore Colburn McFarland, died in 1988. Calling hours will not be held. Funeral services and burial will be held privately at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newburyport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rockingham VNA and Hospice, 137 Epping Road, Exeter 03833; or to the charity of one's choice. Elliott, Woodworth and Rogers Funeral Home in Newburyport is in charge of the arrangements.

Marie J. Murdock, LACONIA

LACONIA - Marie Jeanne Murdock, 98, died Thursday at the Genesis Eldercare Network Laconia Center. She was born in St. Henedine, Quebec, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Lacasse) Labbe. She lived in Laconia for most of her life. Murdock worked as a waitress for Busy Corner Variety, in the cafeteria of the Laconia Clinic, at Keller's Restaurant for 20 years and at Goody Good Doughnut Shop before retiring in 1979. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, the Canado's, the parish Arts and Crafts Group and the ACA. Survivors include a sister, Bertrande Burt of Laconia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her husband, Harry Murdock, died in 1980. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 8 to 9 p.m. at Simoneau and Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St., Laconia. A Mass of Christian burial will follow in Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave., Laconia. The Rev. Adrien Longchamps, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be held in the spring at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Stefan Jurzyk, ALTON BAY

ALTON BAY - Stefan Jurzyk, 66, died yesterday at Lakes Region General Hospital. He was born in Poland, the son of Boleslaw and Bronislawa Jurzyk. Jurzyk was raised in Poland and immigrated to the U.S. in 1984. Survivors include his wife, Krystyna Jurzyk of Alton Bay; two sons, Andrezej Jurzyk of Middletown, Conn., and Leszek Jurzyk of Plainville, Conn.; a daughter, Magdalena Jurzyk of Poland; five brothers and sisters in Poland; and two grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Simoneau and Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St., Laconia. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave., Laconia. The Rev. Adrien Longchamps, pastor, will be celebrant. Urn burial will be held in Poland.

John W. York, WINNFIELD, La.

WINNFIELD, La. - John W. York, 49, formerly of Laconia, died Friday in Winnfield, La. He was born in Caribou, Maine, the son of Woodrow and Marguerite (Forbes) York. He served in the Army. He lived in Laconia until moving to Louisiana two years ago. York worked for the City of Laconia Public Works Department and later for D&J Tire in Winnfield, La. He volunteers for the Winnisquam Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Donna (Marden) York of Winnisquam; two sons, Jeremy York of Laconia and James York of Sanbornton; a daughter, Sara York of Winnfield, La.; a brother, Sheldon York of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Deanna Morin of Waterbury, Conn.; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A daughter, Cori York, died previously. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Jonathan MacKenzie, rector of St. James Episcopal Church, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Elizabeth Mary Marsh, 87, of Holly Street, Concord, died Sunday at home. She was born in Concord, the daughter of Joseph and Bessie (Hollins) Audette Jr. She was raised in Canterbury and lived in Concord for most of her life. Marsh graduated from Concord High School. She cared for and loved horses and was active in harness racing. Survivors include a son, Donald Marsh of Concord; a sister, Pauline Marsh of Concord; and nieces and nephews. Her husband, Vincent Marsh, died previously. Memorial services will be held tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home, 50 S. Main St., Concord. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Blossom Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, P.O. Margaret H. Hall, HOPKINTON

HOPKINTON - Margaret Hyde "Merry" Hall, 76, of Briar Hill Road, died Saturday at home after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Minneapolis, the daughter of Vincent and Margaret (Beard) Gilpin. She was raised in West Chester, Pa., and was formerly of Boston, Easthampton, Mass., and Philadelphia before moving to the campus of St. Paul's School in Concord in 1952. She moved to Hopkinton in 1988. Hall attended schools in West Chester, Pa., graduated from Emma Willard School in Troy, N.Y., in 1945 and earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass., in 1949, where she was a member of the fencing team. She worked for Keystone Custodial Funds, the Plympton Library and at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. She later served as a director and president of the New Hampshire Antiquarian Society. She was involved in many activities of the school and community at St. Paul's School, including service on the board of the New Hampshire State Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Alan Hall of Hopkinton; three sons, Christopher Hall, of Woolwich, Maine, and Newell Hall and Benjamin Hall of Milton, Mass., a brother, Vincent Gilpin Jr. of Malvern, Pa; a sister, Gay Johnson of Germantown, Pa.; grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Chapel of St. Paul, the "Old Chapel," St. Paul's School, Concord. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at St. Paul's School Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Antiquarian Society, 330 Main St., Hopkinton 03229.

Niceta Riano

Niceta Riano of Concord died Feb. 9 at Harris Hill Nursing Home. She was born in Barcelona, Spain. She lived most of her life in New York City and lived with her granddaughter in Hopkinton before moving to Harris Hill Nursing Home. She graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School in New York in 1923. She worked as an accountant for more than 30 years. She was an avid knitter and donated her work to children and the homeless. Survivors include a daughter, Magdalen Mammana of Hopkinton; two grandchildren, Lauren Vallari of Hopkinton and Douglas Sally of Webster; and two great-great-grandchildren, Emily Vallari and Jack Vallari, both of Hopkinton. Funeral services were held in Denville, N.J., and burial was held in Whippany, N.Y. Donations may be made to the Hopkinton Fire Department.

Arnold A. Salvati, WAKEFIELD, Mass.

WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Arnold A. Salvati, 69, died Sunday at home. He was born in Melrose, Mass., the son of Arnold and Lillian (Orsini) Salvati. He graduated from Wakefield (Mass.) High School in 1952, where he served as president of his graduating class. Salvati worked as a systems analyst for Converse Rubber Co. before retiring. He was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church. Survivors include a son, Michael Salvati of Wakefield, Mass.; three daughters, Lisa Dinan of Penacook, Linda Egan of Reading, Mass., and Nancy Smith of Wakefield, Mass.; a brother, Daniel Salvati of Woburn, Mass.; two sisters, Joan Roberto of Wakefield, Mass., and Jane Salvati of Medford, Mass.; grandchildren; a great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. His wife, Patricia (Henchey) Salvati, died previously. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 4 to 8 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, Mass. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in Willow Cemetery in Lynnfield.

Sarah Shulins, CLAREMONT

CLAREMONT - Sarah Shulins, 96, of Prospect Street died Thursday at Morrings Park Nursing Home in Naples, Fla. She was born in Montreal, the daughter of Julius and Hannah (Landis) Zucker. She lived in Claremont for 65 years and wintered in Naples, Fla., for 13 years. She worked as president of Shulins Inc., a retail fabric and dry good company that was on Pleasant Street for more than 40 years. Shulins was a member of Temple Meyer David of Claremont and of The Sisterhood of Temple Meyer David. Survivors include two sons, Arnold Shulins of Claremont and Sidney Shulins of Dacula, Ga.; a brother, Norman Zucker of Montreal; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Her husband of 54 years, Maurice Shulins, died in 1981; two sisters also died previously. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St., Claremont. The Rabbi Edward Boraz of the Upper Valley Jewish Community, will officiate. Burial will follow at Meyer-David Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
