He was a security guard for William Paterson University, Wayne, where he worked for 20 years. An Army Air Force veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post 126, Cliffside Park.
He was a member of Grantwood Congregational Church, Cliffside Park.
Arrangements: McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

STELLA MOTYKA of Norwood died Monday.
She was a parishioner of St. Pius X R.C. Church, Old Tappan, where she was a member of the Rosary Society.
She was a member of the Ladies' Golf League and the Classic Golf Club, both in Old Tappan.
She was a member of the Pascack Valley Hospital Auxiliary.

STEPHEN J. OLSAVSKY JR., 49, of Clifton died Monday.
He had worked at Allan Electric Co., Totowa.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 102, Parsippany.

FRANK A. ORTIZ, 83, of Hackensack, formerly of Lodi, died Tuesday.
He was born in France.
Before retiring, he was a manager for Opera restaurant, Englewood Cliffs.
Previously, he worked at Guido's restaurant, Hackensack. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion in Hackensack.
He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Hasbrouck Heights.
Arrangements: Costa Memorial Home, Hasbrouck Heights.

VICTORIA SARANDRIA PITRELLI, 82, of Moonachie, formerly of Ridgefield, died Tuesday.
Before retiring in 1978, she was a high school teacher in the West New York district for 30 years.
Subsequently, she was a clerk for the borough of Moonachie.
She was a member of the Moonachie Seniors and the St. Margaret choir.
She was a graduate of Trenton State College.
Arrangements: Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service, Little Ferry.

SARA COVI PITTALUGA, 101, of Demarest died Tuesday.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Demarest, where she was a past president of the Rosary and Altar societies.
She was a member of the Seniors and the Garden Club, where she was a former horticulture chairwoman, both in Demarest.
Arrangements: Barrett Funeral Home, Westwood.

CHESTER G. RACKIEWICZ, 67, of Clifton died Tuesday. Born in Poland, he came to the United States 35 years ago.
Before retiring in 1995, he was an international technical consultant at AT&T, Berkeley Heights.
Previously, he was an electrical engineer for Western Electric Co., Newark.
He was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, Clifton.
Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Ave., Clifton.

MICHAEL JOSEPH ROSS of Jersey City died Saturday.
He had been a postmaster in Mountain Lakes.
Previously, he was a clerk and chief steward of NYB/FMC, Secaucus.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Mount Pisga AME Church, Jersey City.
He was also a member of AT and the Philatic Society. A graduate of Jersey City State University, he received his bachelor's degree in economics.

ROWENA J. STANISESKI ROTOLO, 53, ofParamus, formerly of Rutherford, died Sunday.
Before retiring, she was a teacher for the Paramus school system.
She was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Paramus, and a member of its choir.
She had been president of the American Association of University Women, New Jersey.

ROGER SCHNORRBUSCH, 60, of North Bergen died Monday.
He was vice president of Katz Media Corp., New York City, where he worked for 35 years.

MARY SERVAY, 80, of Wilton, Conn., formerly of Hackensack, died March 27.
Before retiring, she was a professional hairdresser.
She was a volunteer for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

JAMES P. SILBERG of Mobile, Ala., formerly of Fairview, died Tuesday.
Before retiring, he worked for Universal Folding Box Co.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

DOROTHY C. STOLL, 71, of Bogota died Monday.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R. C. Church, Bogota, and a former member of its Players Guild.

EMMA L. TOWNSEND, 87, of Westwood, formerly of Cliffside Park, died Tuesday.
Before retiring in 1968, she was a manager for the credit union of The New York Times, where she worked for 15 years.
She was a member of the Cornerstone Bible Church, River Vale, and Eastern Star, Cliffside Park.

MARGARET WALSH of Allendale died Monday.
She was born in Ireland.
She had been a governess and nurse in New York City.
