CHESTER "CHET" MAYCHER, 73, of East Rutherford died Friday.
Before retiring in 1987, he was dairy manager for A&P supermarkets and shop steward for Local 464 of the Amalgamated Meatcutters Union, West Paterson.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served as a medical corpsman.
He was a parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Polish National Catholic Church, Passaic.
He was a member of the East Rutherford Property Owners Association and the AARP, East Rutherford.
Arrangements: Kamienski Funeral Home, Wallington.

FRED MAZART, 34, of Suffern, N.Y., and New York City, died Friday.
He was a proposal consultant for Deloitte & Touche, New York City.
He was a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and received a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

ANNE Mc GROGAN MOLNAR, 63, of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Haledon, died Friday.
She was a technician at GEC Marconi Electronic Systems Corp., Wayne.
She was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson.
Arrangements: Vander Plaat Vermeulen Memorial Home, Franklin Lakes.

EDITH R. PAVLIK, 59, of Pearl River, N.Y., formerly of Hillsdale, died Friday.
She had been a registered nurse at the Old Tappan Medical Group, where she worked for 18 years.
She was a graduate of the Holy Name Hospital School of Nursing, Teaneck.
She was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale.

MARIE L. ACCOMANDO RAMMLER, 91, of Fort Lee died Friday.

JAMES N. RUTHERFORD, 47, of New Milford, formerly of Bergenfield, died Saturday.
He was a carpenter for Steve Macchio Roofing of Bergen County.
He was a member of the Living Word Community Church, Dumont.

MARIA YUPPA SCANCARELLA, 92, of Clifton, formerly of Passaic, died Saturday.
Before retiring, she was a seamstress for Saltz and Son Clothing Co., Passaic.
Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

MILDRED MASTROGIOVANNI SWETZ, 89, of Paterson died Friday.
Before retiring in 1980, she was a textile worker for Brewster Finishing, Paterson.
She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Paterson, where she was a member of the Leisure Club.
She also was a member of Dyers Union Local 1733, Paterson.
Arrangements: Scillieri Funeral Home, Paterson.

PAUL A. TREER, 77, of Midland Park died Wednesday.
Before retiring in 1992, he was a plant operator for the Ridgewood Water Co. in Midland Park, where he worked for 10 years.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a parishioner of the R.C. Church of the Nativity, Midland Park.
Arrangements: Olthuis Funeral Home, Midland Park.

LUCILLE WEISSE, 84, of Hawthorne died Friday.
She was a member of the First Reformed Church, Hawthorne, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 30 years.
She was a member of the Roosevelt School Parent-Teacher Association, Hawthorne.
She was a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 24, Hawthorne.
Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

DR. EUGENE WENK, 71, of Rutherford died Thursday.
He was an anatomy teacher at the New York Medical College, where he founded a graduate medical education program.
He received numerous awards for excellence in teaching and worked with minority student programs at the college.
He was a gradaute of Columbia University, New York City, and the New York Medical College.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
