Before retiring in 1980, he was a construction worker with Laborers' International Local 321, Passaic, for 29 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield.
Arrangements: Costa Memorial Home, Hasbrouck Heights.

IRENE A. ROGERS, 82, of Paterson died Sunday.
Before retiring, she worked for Forstmann Woolen Mills and Sumter Cleaning Corp., both in Paterson.
She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church, Paterson.
Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

EDNA JOSEPH SALFINO, 82, of Paterson died Jan. 21.
Before retiring, she was a singer.
Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

CATHERINE ALOIA SANTORA, 74, of Wood-Ridge, formerly of Hackensack, died Wednesday.
Before retiring in 1994, she was an assistant bookkeeper for Sunshine Pickle Co., Hackensack, where she worked for 18 years.
Previously, she had owned and operated Kay's Luncheonette, Hackensack.
She was a parishioner of R.C. Church of Assumption of the Blessed Lady, Wood-Ridge, and St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church, Hackensack.
Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.

PHILIP SCANCERELLA, 89, of Carlstadt died Wednesday.
Before retiring in 1973, he was a mechanic for UOP Chemical Co., East Rutherford, where he worked for 22 years.
He was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, East Rutherford, where he was an usher.
He was a member of the Seniors and the Auxiliary Police, both in Carlstadt, and of St. Francis of Assisi Knights of Columbus 4524.
He was an honorary sheriff's deputy of Passaic County.

HENRY JOSEPH SCHOENMAKERS of Mahwah, formerly of Ramsey and Waldwick, died Tuesday.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

He was a former parishioner of St. Luke R.C. Church, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus, both in Waldwick.
He was a former member of the Wayne Elks Club and the Ramsey Country Club.

ANNA O. PAPA SMITH, 97, of Ramsey, formerly of Teaneck, died Monday.

LILA STOKES of Danbury, Conn., formerly of Paterson, died Monday.
She was a tax accountant for IBM, Southbury, Conn., where she worked for 27 years.
Previously, she worked for Garden State Credit Bureau, for 11 years.
She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church, Paterson, where she taught Sunday school.

GEORGE WOLF, 92, of Clifton died Wednesday.
Before retiring 20 years ago, he worked for the Clifton Public Library.
Previously, he worked for Manhattan Print Works, Passaic, and Waldrich Co., Clifton.
He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Passaic.

ALICE SPANO LIONETTI, 86, of Florence, Mass., formerly of New Milford, died Tuesday.

CAROL A. SCHWEITZER MAGLIO, 61, of West Milford died Wednesday.
She was a former dispatcher for the Riverdale Police Department and had been a New Jersey forest fire ranger.
She had been a leader for the Newfoundland area Girl Scouts.

SEAN MICHAEL MAYO, 22, of West Milford died Tuesday.
He worked for Pizza Place, West Milford.

SADIE MEIMA MEROP, 102, of North Haledon died Tuesday.
