NICHOLAS ANYASODOR, 41, of Hackensack died Sunday.
He was a labor economist for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in New York City.
He also was an adjunct professor of economics at Manhattan Community College, Berkeley College, Turo College, Monroe College, and Concordia College, all in New York City, and at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison.
He was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Hackensack.

EDNA BABBITT, 84, of North Bergen died Sunday.
Before retiring, she owned Boro Hall Sweet Shop, Fairview.

RAPHAEL CANNIZZARO, 96, of Long Branch, formerly of Clifton, died Monday.
He was born in Italy.
Before retiring in 1966, he worked for General Electric Corp. in Nutley for 20 years.
He was a founding member of the Catholic Deaf Society of the Archdiocese of Paterson and was active at their Masses at St. Paul R.C. Church, Clifton.

SANTO A. De FALCO, 87, of Hasbrouck Heights, formerly of Glen Rock and Lyndhurst, died Sunday.
Before retiring 17 years ago, he was a butcher for Foodtown in Passaic, where he worked for 15 years.
He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Hasbrouck Heights.
He was a member of AARP and the Seniors of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, both in Lyndhurst.

WILLIAM K. EBEL, 70, of Secaucus died Sunday.
Before retiring in 1989, he was a carpenter and member of Hudson County Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 6, North Bergen.

MARIA CAVALLO ELLIOTT, 90, of Bogota died Monday.
She was a member of Bogart Memorial Reformed Church, Bogota.

JULIUS FASCHING, 77, of Maywood, formerly of Leonia, died Sunday.
He was born in Austria and came to the United States in 1923.
Before retiring in 1984, he was a mechanic for Consolidated Edison, New York City, where he worked for 39 years.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Maywood.
He was a member of Con Edison Mic-Caliper Club and a former member of the Maywood Boy's Club.

ROSA J. GARCIA-CEDENO, 48, of Clifton, formerly of Carlstadt, died Sunday.
She was born in Puerto Rico and came to the United States in 1970.
She was a quality control inspector for Lantis Eyes Corp., Moonachie.

MADELINE Y. ZECCA GARROU of Teaneck died Sunday.
Before retiring, she was a buyer for F.W. Woolworth Inc., New York City.
She was a life member of First Waldensian Church, New York City, where she was an organist.

ALBERT E. GILLES, 91, of North Bergen died Saturday.
Before retiring, he was an electrical engineer for E.J. Electric, New York City, where he worked for 40 years.
He was a member of Electrical Workers Union Local 3, New York City, and the Homestead Senior Citizens, North Bergen.
He was past president of the Hudson Council of Mayors and the First Golden Age Club, North Bergen.

GLORIA GIORDANO, 72, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Lodi, died Friday.
Before retiring 12 years ago, she was a clerk for Bergen County for 10 years.

NORA SUKMAN HOLTZBERG, 84, of Hackensack, formerly of Jersey City, died Sunday.
She had worked in her family's business, American Furniture Inc. in Hackensack, for 40 years.
She was a member of the Hackensack Hebrew Institute and the YM-YWHA, both in Hackensack.

DOLORES S. EKELCHIK KAHN, 58, of West New York died Friday.
She was a member of Shaare Zedek Synagogue and its Sisterhood in West New York.

JOSEPH KAYTES, 73, of Hawthorne died Monday.
He was founder of Kaytes Ford, Butler.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
