MILDRED RIZZO AMERUSO, 91, of Oakland, formerly of Hawthorne, died Tuesday.
Before retiring 26 years ago, she was a nurse's aide at the Veterans Hospital in Fort Hamilton, N.Y.
She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne, and a member of its Golden Horizon.
Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

MURIEL M. ANDUJAR BAKER, 63, of Parsippany, formerly of Rutherford, died Wednesday.
She was a graduate of Dominican College and a psychiatric nurse at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital and at the Veterans Hospital in East Orange.
She also had worked at the Bergen, Hudson, and Essex county jails.

MARGARET AITKEN CROMWELL, 89, of Maywood died Tuesday.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Rochelle Park.
She was a member of the Maywood Seniors.

LILLIAN SALTZMAN EPSTEIN of North Arlington died Tuesday.
Before retiring, she was a saleswoman at Jeanette's Fashions, Denville.
Previously, she was a saleswoman at Bernie's Youth Center, Rutherford.

IRENE VAN EMBURGH GIBBS, 97, of Woodcliff Lake, formerly of Midland Park, died Tuesday.
She was a volunteer at the Midland Park Library.

PETER A. KEPPEL, 89, of North Haledon died Tuesday.
Before retiring, he was a general foreman for Allied Chemical Co., Haledon.

TERESA AUMENTA MARSHALL, 82, of Rutherford died Wednesday.
She was a member of Rutherford Bible Chapel and the Lighthouse for the Blind, Lyndhurst.

He was a life member, former chief, and chairman of the trustees of the River Vale Fire Department.
He was president of the Exempt Firemen's Association and vice president of the Firemen's Association, both in River Vale.
He was president of the Pascack Valley Association and the Pascack Valley Chiefs Association.

ALICE C. NEILLEY SMITH, 88, of Wallington died Tuesday.
Before retiring in 1980, she was registrar of vital statistics for the borough of Wallington, where she worked for 43 years. She also was vice president and secretary of Smith-Sondy Paving Contractors Inc.
She was a parishioner and founding member of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Wallington, a member of its Rosary confraternity, and past president of its Columbiettes.
