WILLIAM MAZZA, 81, of Hackensack died Sunday. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack. He was a member of the Bergen County Laborers Union. Arrangements: J. Rocciola Funeral Home, Hackensack.

BERNICE M. HASLETT NORTON, 64, of North Arlington died Sunday. She was a parishioner of Queen of Peace R.C. Church, North Arlington, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Rutherford. Arrangements: Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford.

ANNA CITRO PICCOLO, 93, of Wayne, formerly of Passaic, died Saturday. She was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

JOHN N. RANONE, 76, of Oakland died Sunday. Before retiring in 1991, he was a building superintendent for Barley & Co., New York City, where he worked for 47 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church, Oakland. He was a member of the Seniors and Knights of Columbus Council 5846, both in Oakland. Arrangements: Oakland Memorial Home.

CATHERINE A. BARRETT RICKES, 86, of Fairview died Sunday. He was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Fairview. Arrangements: McCorry Bros. Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

CATHERINE TERESA SCAVUZZO, 100, of River Vale died Sunday. She was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

ELIZABETH RUTH ABOLIN SCHMIDT of Wayne, formerly of Fair Lawn, died April 25. Before retiring in 1987, she was secretary to the superintendent of recreation for Fair Lawn, where she worked for 26 years. She was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church, Fair Lawn, St. Joseph R.C. Church, West Milford, and Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne. She was a treasurer of the Blood Bank and a member of the Seniors, both in Fair Lawn. Arrangements: Rinaldi-DeLuccia-Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Haledon.

GEORGE H. STICKNEY JR., 82, of Ramsey died Saturday. He established an industrial real estate company in Paterson in 1950. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in 1940. He was a member of the Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, the YMCA, and the Community Chest, all in Paterson. He was a member of the Hamilton Club and a past president of the Senior Council. He was a member of the Society of Industrial Realtors, past district vice president and past director of its National Association, and past president of its New Jersey chapter. He was a member of the New York Metropolitan Area Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

PAUL VAN DYK, 82, of Elmwood Park, formerly of Wallington, died Friday. Before retiring in 1974, he was a hose division foreman for Uniroyal Rubber Co., Passaic, where he worked for 38 years. A Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2640, Wallington, the Disabled American Veterans, Clifton, and the First Marine Division Association. Arrangements: Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Elmwood Park.

MARIE E. FERGUSON VOELKNER, 89, of Wayne, formerly of Clifton and Paterson, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1971, she was a saleswoman at Stern's department store, Paterson. Previously, she worked at Quackenbush department store, Paterson. She was a member of the Democratic County Committee in Paterson. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

AARON "ED" WIELENGA, 85, of North Haledon, formerly of Prospect Park, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1975, he was a textile printer for Brewster Dye & Finishing, Paterson. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

CHARLES O. YATES, 79, of Fair Lawn, formerly of Lodi, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1983, he was a chemical operator for Borden Chemical, Fair Lawn, where he worked for 35 years. He was an Army Medical Corps veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church, and a volunteer at the Senior Center, both in Fair Lawn. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.
