ROBERT GAGE ALYEA, 51, of Los Angeles, formerly of Rutherford, died January 21. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Arrangements: Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford.

MILDRED A. BIRCKHOLTZ BLOMQUIST of Ridgefield Park, formerly of Jersey City, died Tuesday. Before retiring eight years ago, she worked for Austin & Cerame Attorneys at Law, Hackensack. She was a member of Second Reformed Church, Hackensack. She also was a member of Forrestville Chapter 71 Order of the Eastern Star, Jersey City, and American Legion Post 262 Auxiliary, River Edge. She was a volunteer at Ridgefield Park Public Library. Arrangements: Blackley Funeral Home, Ridgefield.

BEATRICE LORENZO BOYLE, 84, of Teaneck died Sunday. Before retiring, she was a secretary for Bendix Corp., Teterboro. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack. Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Teaneck.

JOSEPH BREZNAK, 78, of Clifton died Monday. Before retiring, he worked for Public Service Electric and Gas Co., Clifton. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic, and a member of its Holy Name Society. He was a member of American Legion Post 347 and the Seniors, both in Clifton. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Lexington Avenue, Clifton.

RAYMOND M. "JAKE" BUMBERA SR., 74, of Clifton died Monday. Before retiring in 1989, he was a heavy-equipment operator for Local 825 of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Little Falls, where he worked for 25 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church, Clifton, where he was an usher. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

ANTHONY J. CASSANO, 78, of Paramus died Sunday. Before retiring in 1991, he was an executive for Security Connecticut Insurance, Hartford, Conn. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

ROSALINA CICATELLI, 77, of Washington Township died Monday. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

FLORENCE FLYNN DUNKERLEY, 75, of Wayne, formerly of West Paterson, died Tuesday. She was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson, and a member of its St. Anthony's Guild. She also was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 6255, Cedar Grove. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, West Paterson.

JOAN C. DYE, 69, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Teaneck, died Jan. 17. Before retiring, she was a professor in the Division of Education at Hunter College, New York City, where she worked for 20 years. She was a graduate of Bethany College in West Virginia and received a master's degree in French from Columbia University. She earned a doctorate in education at New York University. She was a member of Kappa Delta sorority, Bethany College Chapter. Arrangements were private.

SISTER ALICE MARIE LEONARDINE FAHERTY, 84, of Caldwell, formerly of West Paterson and Paterson, died Monday. A Missionary Sister of the Immaculate Conception, she entered the order in West Paterson in 1934 and made her Perpetual Profession in New York in 1939. Before retiring in 1995, she was a social worker with the Paterson Diocese Catholic Family and Community Services, where she began working in 1968. Previously, she was a teacher and a child-care worker and served at St. Walburga Orphanage, Roselle. She also had worked outside of New Jersey and held administrative positions with the Missionary Sisters. She received a bachelor's degree in sociology and generic casework from St. Bonaventure (N.Y.) University in 1939. She received a master's in social work from the Catholic University of America, Washington. Arrangements: Lesko-Stickle Funeral Home, in the Newfoundland section of West Milford.

ANNA LACAVA GARZO, 86, of Palisades Park died Monday. She was a parishioner of St. Nicholas R.C. Church, Palisades Park, and a member of its Holy Rosary Society. Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Palisades Park.

HELEN M. KOLESA GAYDARIK, 81, of Fair Lawn died Monday. Before retiring in 1974, she worked for the Fair Lawn Water and Tax departments. She was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church, Fair Lawn. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

VINCENZA RITA COSENTINO GRACI, 63, of Garfield, formerly of Lodi, died Tuesday. She was born in Italy. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield. Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.

ANNA CASCARDO GRECO, 95, of Jackson Township, formerly of Leonia, died Saturday. She was a seamstress. She was a former parishioner of St. John R.C. Church, Leonia, where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was a member of the Leonia Seniors. Arrangements: George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson.

WILHELMINA WOLSSON GREENWOOD, 89, of Fort Lee died Monday. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Directors, Fort Lee.

MILDRED LERNER GREENGLASS, 75, of Oradell died Tuesday. Arrangements: Gutterman-Musicant, Hackensack.

WILLIAM JOHN HANNIGAN, 31, of West Paterson died Sunday. He was a construction worker for Northern Jersey Construction. He was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, West Paterson.

DOROTHY JEAN BOYKINS HENRY of Paterson died Jan. 18. She was a cottage training technician at the North Jersey Developmental Center in Totowa, where she worked for 15 years. She was a member of Agape Christian Ministries, Paterson. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

ESTHER H. GHIRARDI HOFFMANN, 78, of Lodi died Monday. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

ROBERT HOPKINS, 85, of Bridgewater Township died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1981, he was a secretary and school business administrator for the Passaic Board of Education, where he worked for 24 years. He was a former parishioner of St. Nicholas R.C. Church, Passaic. He was a member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick and past Grand Knight with the Perez Council of the Knights of Columbus, both in Passaic. Arrangements: Powell-Marrocco Funeral Home, Passaic.

LILLIAN LaMURAGLIA, 75, of Raritan Township, formerly of River Edge, died Monday. Arrangements: Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.
