He was born in Czechoslovakia.
Before retiring in 1996, he owned Ridgewood Dental Labs for 45 years.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3484, Saddle Brook.

ALICE F. WESTLIN BRITTAN, 80, of Fair Lawn died Friday.
Before retiring in 1978, she was an executive secretary for Microfilm Corp., Glen Rock.
She was a member of the Curtiss-Wright Retirement Club, Wood-Ridge.
Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

GISELA M. (NASER) BUCKHEIT, 59, of Washington Township died Friday.
She had been president, treasurer, and arts creative chairwoman of The Contemporary Woman's Club of Washington Township, where she also served as it's 9th District special committee chairwoman of the Girls Career Institute, treasurer of the Past Presidents Club, and education chairwoman.
She was also divisional chairwoman of the ESO of the 9th District.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she participated in the Quilters for Missions and the Homebound Ministry.
She was a member and organist for Chapter 62 of the Order of the Eastern Star and served on the advisory board of Temple Assembly 32 Rainbow Girls.

GRAYCE CULIHAN BUSH, 87, of Fair Lawn died Friday.
She was a parishioner of St. Catharine R.C. Church, Glen Rock, where she was a member of the Association of Mature Parishioners.

MARGARET JAHREN CONN, 73, of Wood-Ridge, formerly of Wallington, died Saturday.
Before retiring in 1990, she was an office worker for Curtiss-Wright Corp., Wood-Ridge.

ANN POTENTE CORDELLA, 80, of Ridgefield died Friday.
She was a member of the Ridgefield Senior Citizens.

LEOCADIA H. VANAK DABAL, 90, of Lyndhurst, formerly of Garfield, died Friday.
Before retiring in 1975, she was a secretary for George B. Hohlman, Rutherford.
She was a parishioner and leisure club member of St. Michael R.C. Church, Lyndhurst, and of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Newark.
She was past president of the Lyndhurst Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary and the Lyndhurst Garden Club.
She was a member of the PTA, the Historical Society, the Golden Age Club, and the Sacred Heart Seniors, all in Lyndhurst.

JOHN LEONARD DE BLOCK of Prospect Park died Saturday.
He had been a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Prospect Park, where he worked for 43 years.
He had also worked for William Paterson University, Wayne, for 10 years.
He was a member of Unity Christian Reformed Church.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was commander of the Prospect Park Memorial Post, the Riverside Vets, and the War Vets League. He also served as president of the Paterson Veterans Council and was a member of the Post Office Vets for over 50 years.
He was an organizer of the Prospect Park Boys Club and received the Greater Paterson Outstanding Service Award from then-U.S. Rep. Gordon Canfield.

MARK DOYLE of Lyndhurst died Friday.
Before retiring in 1974, he worked for the Bank of New York and for Empire Trust Bank for 45 years.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3549, the Friendship Club, and the AARP, all in Lyndhurst.
He was also a member of the Old Guard of Rutherford.

THERESA L. FERRARO, 90, of Paterson died Saturday.
Before retiring, she was a seamstress for Brooks Bros. Shirt Co., Paterson.
She was a parishioner of St. Stephen R.C. Church, Paterson, and was a former member of the St. George Leisure Club.
Arrangements: Della Torre Funeral Home, Paterson.

EVELYN L. FULTON, 97, of Passaic, formerly of Clifton, died Thursday.
Before retiring, she was a seamstress for Jack Finn's, Clifton.
She was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union.

ANN BAGNES HASBROUCK, 87, of Asbury Park, formerly of Fair Lawn, died Friday.
Before retiring, she was an administrative assistant for New Jersey Bell, Paterson, where she worked for 13 years.
Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

MARGARET WAGNER HOGLUND, 82, of Whiting, Manchester Township, formerly of Lyndhurst, died Friday.
Arrangements: Nazare Memorial Home, Lyndhurst.

FRANK J. HUBERT, 85, of Palisades Park died Friday.
Before retiring in 1978, he was a sales engineer for L. O. Koven, Jersey City, where he worked for 35 years.
He was a parishioner of St. Michael R.C. Church, Palisades Park, where he served as an usher.
He was a member of the Palisades Park Exempt Firemen's Association.
He had been president of the Little League and the Babe Ruth League, where he also coached, and was past chairman of the Recreation Commission, all in Palisades Park.
He also had been secretary of the Palisades Park High School Hall of Fame and a member of the Bergen County Umpires Association.

CARL B. JOHNSON, 77, of Bergenfield died Friday.
Before retiring in 1985, he was a chemical salesman for American Cyanamid Corp., Wayne, where he worked for 40 years.
He was a graduate of the University of Virginia.
He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and was chaplain and past finance officer of the American Legion, Leonia.
He was past president of the Saddle River Valley Lions Club.

WILLIAM E. JUNNY, 46, of Hasbrouck Heights, formerly of Jersey City, died Friday.
He was shipping supervisor for Bergen Scientific and Photographic Equipment, Ramsey, where he worked for 15 years.
He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Hasbrouck Heights.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 3428, North Arlington, and its bowling league. Arrangements: Hennessey-Powell Funeral Home, Hasbrouck Heights.

ANN MARIE LaFORGIA, 39, of Hamilton, Ohio, formerly of Franklin Lakes, died Monday.

PHYLLIS G. DEL DUCA LoFRANCO, 49, of Garfield died Friday.
She was a clerk for Shop-Rite, Hasbrouck Heights.
She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of Fire Company 2, Moonachie.
