RUSSELL HAVRILIAK JR., 51, of Warwick, N.Y., formerly of Garfield and Lodi, died Saturday.
He had been an operations manager for EDS Distributors Service Centers, Rochelle Park.
Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

WILLIAM R. HESSE, 89, of Ridgefield Park died Monday.
Before retiring in 1966, he was a custodian for the Ridgefield Park Board of Education.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Arrangements: Vorhees Funeral Home, Ridgefield Park.

DOMENICA "KATTIE" FAZIO HORVATH, 83, of Sparkill, N.Y., formerly of North Bergen, died Saturday.
Before retiring in 1972, she was a clerical worker for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., New York City, where she worked for 15 years.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, North Bergen.
Arrangements: McCorry Bros. Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

JAN KISZA, 78, of Washington Township died Sunday.
He was born in Czechoslovakia.
Before retiring, he was a pattern maker for The Gallery Co., New York City.
Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

FRANCIS J. KOWALSKI, 69, of Mahwah died Thursday.
Before retiring, he worked at the Mahwah Water Department.
He was a Korean War veteran.
He was a member of Fire Company 2 in Mahwah.

PAULINE KURTZ, 85, of Hackensack died Sunday.
She was a life member of Hadassah and was past president of ORT, Paterson.
She was a graduate of the Paterson Normal School.

LOUIS LANZA, 94, of North Bergen died Sunday.
He was born in Italy.
Before retiring in 1968, he was a captain/maitre'd at Mama Leone's Restaurant, New York City, where he worked for 30 years. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Directors, Fort Lee.

JOHN LEPETICH SR., 77, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Fort Lee, died Saturday.
Before retiring in 1997, he was a longshoreman for the NYSA, where he worked for 40 years.
He was a member of the International Longshoremen's Association.
Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Directors, Fort Lee.

AGNES E. HAFFANEY LLOYD, 65, of Teaneck died Saturday.
She was an insurance adjuster for MetLife, Pearl River, N.Y., where she worked for 30 years.
Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Teaneck.

CATHERINE J. THURSTON LUM, 91, of Maywood died Monday.
Before retiring 30 years ago, she was a meat wrapper for Food Fair and A&P, both in Fort Lee.
She was a member of the Golden Age Club, Bergenfield/Dumont, and the Seniors, Dumont/Haworth.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, Maywood.
Arrangements: Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, Maywood.

RUSSELL F. MAGNA, 62, of Hawthorne died Sunday.
He was the port engineer for Navieras NPR Inc., Edison.
Previously, he was the general manager for Brady Marine Repair, Elizabeth, where he worked for 17 years.
He was a Navy and merchant marine veteran.
He was a member of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne.
He was a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, and was a former president and chairman of the board of the Society of Marine Port Engineers of New York and New Jersey.

LEE MAGNANI, 73, of Paramus died Sunday.

VIRGINIA PELLITTIERI MANIA, 94, of Paterson died Sunday.
Born in Italy, she came to the United States in 1921.
Before retiring in 1965, she owned and operated the Mania Deli & Grocery Store, Paterson, for 45 years.
She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Paterson.
She was a past member of Santa Croce Camarina, Paterson.
Arrangements: Scillieri Funeral Home, Paterson.

PAUL MERRITTS, 74, of Cresskill died Sunday.
Before retiring, he was a machinist for RHO in the Bronx.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a parishioner of St. Therese R.C. Church, Cresskill.
Arrangements: Moritz Funeral Home, Closter.

ETHEL MILLER of Light House Point, Fla., formerly of Ridgewood, died Wednesday.
Arrangements: C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.
