ROSE NEIDICH, 86, of Manalapan, died March 18 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. She was predeceased by her husband, Bennie; and two brothers, Hymie and Maxie Rubenstein. She is survived by two sons, Harrold Lawrence "Larry" of Manalapan and Jerrold of Atlanta; two sisters, Emma Keslinger of the Bronx, N.Y., and Frances Setren of Arizona; and four grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Youth Program of Congregations Sons of Israel, P.O. Box 369, Manalapan 07726.

PATRICIA A. SAFKA, 60, of Manalapan, died March 18 in Aberdeen. Born in Keyport, she had lived there and in Old Bridge before moving to Manalapan two years ago. She was the owner and operator of All About Bows, Aberdeen, with her niece and business partner, Elizabeth Purcell, for four years. She was also known as the "Ribbon Lady." She was predeceased by a brother, James Warnock. She is survived by her husband, Fred M.; two stepdaughters, Melanie Shickirk of Florida and Stephanie Safka of Lake George, N.Y.; a brother, Leon Warnock of Jackson; a sister, Audrey Vaughn of Keyport; three step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1, North Brunswick 08902-4301.

JOAN T. McCUE, 52, of New York City, died Dec. 14 at home. She was born in Long Branch. She was an artist for both Kmart and Caperelli Inc. Prior to that, she was employed by the Switzer Gallery, the Wasserman Gallery, and the Museum of Holography, all New York City. Her volunteer activities included St. Vincent’s Hospital, and The Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral, both New York City. She was a communicant of Old St. Patrick’s Church, New York City. She was a graduate of both Red Bank Catholic High School, and Rowan University, Glassboro. She is survived by her parents, Martin C. and Theresa M. McCue; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Drew Correa of Fair Haven, Nancy McCue and Rick Theriault of Downingtown, Pa., and Christine and Jerry Potts of Medfield, Mass.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Martin T. and Kathy McCue of Pittsford, N.Y., and Paul J. and Charlene McCue of Freehold; her companion, George Adriangi of New York City; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Memorial donations may be made to the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County, 59 Broad St., Eatontown 07724.

ETHEL MAE RUMFIELD, 85, of North Babylon, N.Y., died Dec. 17 at home. Born in Colts Neck, she was a resident of Hudson Manor, Freehold, before moving to North Babylon five years ago. Mrs. Rumfield was a garment worker before her retirement 23 years ago. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church; American Legion Post No. 54 Auxiliary; and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4374 Auxiliary, all of Freehold. Mrs. Rumfield was predeceased by her husband, Raymond S., who died in 1972. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ernest and Irene Rumfield of Walden, N.Y.; a daughter and son-in-law, Raiona and James Gallichio, with whom she lived; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Interment was at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township.

WILLIAM ABRAHAM RUTENBERG, 78, of the Morganville section of Marlboro, died Dec. 18 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Montreal, Canada, he had lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Morganville 16 years ago. Mr. Rutenberg was a deliman for Pathmark supermarket, Marlboro. Prior to that he was a furrier in New York City. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Rutenberg is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Holland Rutenberg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Hedy and Nat Tehrani of Morganville, and Marsha and Jon Zazula of New Hope, Pa.; four stepchildren, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

CHARLES LEE HO JR., 54, of Marlboro, died Dec. 19 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Trenton, he had lived in Queens and Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Marlboro 10 years ago. He was a logistics manager for Beverage Transportation, Thomasville, Pa., for the past six weeks. Prior to that, he was a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years. He was a graduate of Syracuse University, Syracuse, N.Y., where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. He was a congregant of Temple Rodeph Torah, Marlboro. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Joan (nee Marcus); a son, Daniel, at home; a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Armando Barreiro of Sea Bright; his mother, Yina Wah Hor of Morrisville, Pa.; and a sister, Pat Valentin of Manhattan, N.Y. Services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick, followed by interment at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery, Marlboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to aid in establishing a college fund for Daniel Ho.

NANCY B. WALLEY, 75, of Manalapan, died Dec. 20 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Born in Englishtown, she had lived in Manalapan for most of her life. Mrs. Walley was a registered nurse in the Western Monmouth County area, retiring in 1985 after 12 years with Marlboro State Psychiatric Hospital. She was a graduate of Mercy College, Philadelphia, where she earned a nursing degree. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Freehold. Mrs. Walley is survived by a cousin, Lawrence Hicks of Manalapan.

ARTHUR HARRY BARTH, 70, of Colts Neck died Dec. 20 at home. He was born in Marlboro and had lived there before moving to Colts Neck 42 years ago. He owned and operated the Colts Neck Honey Shop, Colts Neck, for more than 30 years. He was also an electrician and had been employed by New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. before his years at the Honey Shop. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Freehold High School and was a charter member of the Colts Neck First Aid Squad. He was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Frederick. He is survived by a brother, William of Colts Neck; two sisters, Ethel Quabeck of Colts Neck and Eva Columbis of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at the Colts Neck Reformed Church, Colts Neck.

RICHARD "JAKE" JACOBSON, 66, of Old Bridge, died Dec. 21 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was born in Staten Island, N.Y., where he resided before moving to Old Bridge 18 years ago. He was employed by Consolidated Edison (Con Ed) at the Waterside Powerhouse in New York City for 40 years, retiring as electrical superintendent in 1998. He was a U.S .Navy veteran of the Korean War, serving aboard the aircraft carrier USS Tarawa. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine (nee Brostek); a son, John P. Corbett Jr. of Barnegat; three daughters, Mary Jacobson of Staten Island, Emma Duff of Tafton, Pa., and Carolyn Bonelli of Englishtown; a brother, Henry T. Jacobson of Staten Island; a sister, Barbara Mastropietro of Staten Island; and eight grandchildren. The funeral Mass was offered at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Old Bridge, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan.

FLORENCE E. LOPATIN, 74, of Ocala, Fla., died Dec. 21. Mrs. Lopatin was born in Freehold, where she lived until moving to Florida 11 years ago. She was a retired high school bus driver. Mrs. Lopatin is survived by a daughter, Beverly Pagels of Freehold; a sister, Mildred Lane of Jackson; and one grandson.
