FREDERIC E. BORDI, 67, of Matawan died Dec. 16 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he resided in the Bronx, N.Y., and Howell before moving to Cheesequake Village, Old Bridge, four years ago. He earned his nursing degree after retirement, and was employed at Victoria House, Matawan, and Madison Center, Old Bridge. Prior to that, he was a controller at Meadows Wye Inc., Staten Island, N.Y., for 25 years, retiring in 2000. He served as a specialist 3rd class in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Michelena Fostini-Bordi of Matawan; two sons, Frederic Bordi of Morrisville, Pa., and Gus Bordi of Hackettstown; two daughters, Elena Bordi of Ocean, and Ann Hunt of Keyport; a sister, Marie Lever of Waynemart, Pa.; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be Dec. 18 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Dec. 19 at 10 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, Old Bridge. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury 07702.

DAVID K. CZESNIK of Union Beach died Dec. 1. Born in Jersey City, he resided in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown before moving to Union Beach 19 years ago. Mr. Czesnik was the owner and president of Custom Electrical Designs for 25 years. He was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church, Middletown; and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Mystic Brotherhood No. 21, Red Bank. His activities included skydiving, scuba diving, and going to the beach. He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Joan Czesnik of Port Monmouth; his brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Eileen Czesnik of Middletown; his sister and brother-in-law, Victoria and Richard Wojewodzki of Holmdel; and three nieces. A memorial service was held at King of Kings Lutheran Church. Memorial donations may be made to King of Kings Lutheran Church, 250 Harmony Road, Middletown, 07748.

THOMAS P. DEVINE, 69, of Hazlet died Dec. 16 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in New York City, he resided in the Bronx, N.Y., prior to moving to Hazlet 28 years ago. Mr. Devine was a mechanic for Con Edison, New York, for 28 years, retiring in 1992. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a communicant of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Collier-Devine; two sons, Daniel Devine of Florida and Thomas Devine of Wall Township; four daughters, Karen VanCleve of Holmdel, Jackie Ferrara of Pennsylvania, Nancy England of Middletown and Felicia Devine of Keyport; a sister; five brothers, and 16 grandchildren. Visitation will be Dec. 18 and 19 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Dec. 20 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach, followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.

ALICE GUIOTTO KALLFISCH, 85, of Matawan died Dec. 14 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Union City, she resided in Lodi prior to moving to Matawan in 1973. Mrs. Kallfisch was a retired seamstress at Weschler’s and Co., Passaic, where she was employed for several years. She was a member of the Busy Fingers of Cheesequake Village. She was predeceased by her husband, Anton Guiotto, in 1962. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Kallfisch of Middletown; and two granddaughters, Anne Kallfisch of Williamsport, Pa., and Kathryn Kallfisch of Middletown. A funeral liturgy will be offered Dec. 18 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Laurence Harbor. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.

RUTH E. DeRONER DeZENZO, 76, of Keyport died Dec. 1 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Newark, she resided in Orange before moving to Keyport 24 years ago. She was an underwriter at Hartford Insurance, Randolph, for 10 years, retiring in 1981. She was predeceased by her husband, George DeZenzo, in 1951; and her sister, Kathleen Murray, in 1992. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Fox of Keyport; two sisters, Mildred Radler of Virginia, and Jeanette Parizot of Parsippany; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be Dec. 5 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport.

THOMAS P. McCULLOUGH SR., 72, of Bayville died Nov. 2 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Hasbrouck Heights, he resided in Freehold 43 years prior to moving to Bayville one year ago. He was an electronics technician at Fort Monmouth from 1960 until 1994. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a former communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, where he coached the C.Y.O. basketball league. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 54, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4374, both Freehold. His coached Freehold Little League. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Dixon McCullough of Bayville; two sons, Thomas P. McCullough Jr. of Bayville, and Robert McCullough of Marshall’s Creek, Pa.; three daughters, Deborah Berroth of New Braunfells, Texas; Carolyn McCullough of Lexington Park, Md.; and Elizabeth Warrington of Franklinville; a brother, Richard McCullough of Little Egg Harbor; four sisters, Grace McCullough of Freehold, Margaret Mundorf of Hampstead, N.C.; Rosemary Maxcy of Hazlet; and Joan Berner of Kuna, Idaho; and 15 grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church.

FLORENCE MARIE ALBRECHT EISENMANN, 78, of Keyport died Nov. 20 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Hillside, Mrs. Eisenmann was a longtime Keyport resident. She worked in the food service department at Keyport Central School until her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Mrs. Eisenmann was predeceased by her husband, James, in 1983. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis Eisenmann and Gena Krannig of Galveston, Texas, and Scott and Jane Eisenmann of the Morganville section of Marlboro; her daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Roger Edgington of Waterford, Mich.; her sister, Catherine Ahern of Hazlet; her daughter-in-law, Georgina Eastmond of Galveston; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Entombment took place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Keyport.

KAREN A. LUND HEPNER, 51, of Union Beach died Nov. 20 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in South Amboy, she resided in Keyport and Matawan prior to moving to Union Beach two years ago. Mrs. Hepner was employed at Bayshore Integrated Physicians Association, Matawan, for 33 years. She was a member of St. John’s Methodist Church, Hazlet. She was predeceased by her father, Paul Lund, in 1978. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Boyle of Seabrook, N.H.; her daughter, Jessica Hepner of Union Beach; her sister, Heather Lund of Long Branch; her brother, Christopher Lund of Madison, Ala.; and her companion, Bert Haywood of Union Beach. Interment was at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport. Memorial donations may be made to The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Attn.: Rosemarie Franchini, Asst. Director of Development, 195 Little Albany St., New Brunswick 08901.

HELEN M. VENA, 89, of the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen, died Nov. 20 at Bayshore Health Center, Holmdel. Born in Woonsocket, R.I., she was a lifelong resident of Cliffwood. Mrs. Vena was a waitress at the Molly Pitcher Inn, Red Bank, for 30 years, as well as the Buttonwood Manor, Matawan, retiring in 1980. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Cliffwood Fire Company. She was predeceased by two sisters, Frances Barrett and Grace Ryan. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joseph Vena of Cliffwood; three daughters, Margaret Crist of Foxborough, Mass., Sharon Malysa of Jackson, and Nancy Nienstedt of Pittstown; two sons, Joseph Vena Jr. and Eugene Vena, both of Cliffwood; her brother, Eugene Barrett Jr. of Keyport; her sister, Katherine Britten of Florida; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church. Burial was at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.

CHRISTINA MARCHISA GREENBERG, 82, of Aberdeen died Nov. 21 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Piedmonte, Italy, she resided in New York City and Florida prior to moving to Aberdeen 34 years ago. She was a designer and pattern-maker at various Seventh Avenue fashion houses in New York City, and also taught design and pattern-making at various fashion schools. She was past grand officer of the state of New Jersey Order of the Eastern Star, and past matron of the Sirius Chapter Order of the Eastern Star No. 123. She volunteered for more than 40 years with local charities, with 17 years at Bayshore Community Hospital. She was a member of the National Organization of Italian-American Women, and Sons of Italy of America Frank Sinatra Lodge No. 2621. She was predeceased by her husband, Julius L. Greenberg, in 1998. She is survived by her sister, Elsie Gallese of Marlboro; her brother and sister-in-law, Dante and Victoria Marchisa of Toms River; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A funeral service was offered at United Methodist Church, Aberdeen. Entombment was at Garden of Memories, Paramus.
