Hazel Bell Angster

Mrs. Angster, 83, of Taunton, Mass., died Dec. 15 in Taunton. Born in Newark, she resided in Eatontown prior to moving to Taunton four years ago. She was a retired registered licensed practical nurse. She was predeceased by her husband, Cortlandt Angster in 1994. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Testa of South River; her brother, John Bell of Cooley, N.Y.; three sisters, Ada Giuliano of Meyersville, Dorothy Kyrk of Liberty, N.Y., and Edna Auth of Stausburg, Pa.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Burial was at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Memorial donations may be made to The Lutheran Church of the Way, 110 Robinson St., Raynham, MA 02767.

B. Roy Aravecz

Mr. Aravecz, 73, of the Lincroft section of Middletown died Dec. 13 at Blythe House, Tinton Falls. Born in Elizabeth, he resided in Middletown 41 years. He was the owner/operator of Monmouth Exxon, Holmdel, for 30 years, retiring in 1985. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. He was a founding member of the Mater Dei Booster Club, New Monmouth, and an avid fisherman. He was predeceased by his wife, Anita Aravecz in 1992. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Claire and Edward Andia of Middletown; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Cathy Aravecz of Lincroft, and John and Rondi Aravecz of Freehold; and four grandchildren. A funeral gathering will be held Dec. 17 at 8:30 a.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth. Burial will follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia. Memorial donations may be made to Mater Dei Booster Club, 538 Church St., New Monmouth 07748.

Daniel R. Bonamici

Mr. Bonamici, 72, of Monroe, formerly of East Brunswick, died Sept. 16 at home. An accountant since 1957, he founded the Bonamici Co., Spotswood, in 1967. The firm, of which he was president, is now known as Bonamici, Colletti, CPAs. From 1955-1963 he taught at Jamesburg High School, where he was also department chairman. He was past board secretary, Jamesburg Board of Education, and past board secretary of the Helmetta Board of Education. A director and past president of the East Brunswick Regional Chamber of Commerce, he also served as treasurer of the chamber’s charitable foundation and was past president of the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the board of directors of the Raritan Valley YMCA, East Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Gloria Smith Bonamici; three children, Kendall Anne Spencer and Kirk Bonamici, both of Monroe, and Kimball Bonamici Williams of Austin, Texas; a sister, Ruth Rolseth of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; and six grandchildren. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the East Brunswick Regional Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation, P.O. Box 56, East Brunswick, NJ 08816; Haven Hospice, 65 James St., Edison, NJ 08818; or the Raritan Valley YMCA Building Fund, 206 Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick, NJ 08816.

Ann T. Downey King

Mrs. King, 73, of Old Bridge, formerly of South Brunswick, died Sept. 22 in Old Bridge Manor. She was predeceased by her husband, John F. King Sr. Surviving are four sons, John F. and Rob, both of Howell, Pat of Jackson and Paul of Bradley Beach; four daughters, Eileen Avillion of Monmouth Junction, Nancy Novellino of the Toms River section of Dover, Kathy O’Donnell of the Colonia section of Woodbridge and Mary O’Neill of Avon, Conn.; a brother, Peter Downey of Burke, Va.; a sister, Mary Haas of Sun City, Fla.; and 19 grandchildren. A Mass is planned for 11 a.m. on Sept. 25 at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Cremation will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.

James Hansen

Mr. Hansen, 71, of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick, died Sept. 16 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Edison, he moved to Monmouth Junction in 1970. He was an equipment operator for the Edison road department for 45 years, retiring in 1995. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Trello Hansen of Monmouth Junction; three sons, James Hansen Jr. of Cape Coral, Fla., and Hans Hansen and Thomas Mullen, both Monmouth Junction; three daughters, Debra Paypay of Edison, Darlene McCabe of Piscataway, and Donna Olsen of Monmouth Junction; three brothers, Oscar Hansen of East Brunswick, Hans Hansen of Virginia, and Carl Hansen of Edison; four sisters, Nellie Matyas of Edison, Ann Schurak of South Brunswick, Pearl Hill of Brigantine, and Mildred Everette of Piscataway; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Burial was at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements were made by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.

Stanley J. Williams

Mr. Williams, 99, died Sept. 16 at Crestwood Manor, Whiting. Born in Poland, he resided in New Brunswick prior to moving to North Brunswick more than 60 years ago. He was a retired butcher and the owner of George Street Market, New Brunswick. He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick, and a member of its Holy Name Society for several years. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary R. Danceses Williams, in 1987. He is sur­vived by his daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and John Johnson of Albuquerque, N.M.; his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Helen Williams of St. Augustine, Fla. and Seaside Park; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. Burial was at Resur­rection Burial Park, Piscataway. Arrange­ments were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.

Margaret M. Reynolds

Mrs. Reynolds, 81, of North Brunswick died Sept. 21 at Chelsea, East Brunswick, fol­lowing a lengthy illness. Born in North Brunswick, she was a lifelong resident. She was a retired secretary at Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick, and General Devices, South Brunswick. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, North Brunswick. She was a past Girl Scout leader in North Brunswick She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Reynolds in 2000. She is sur­vived by two daughters. Roseann Perrotta of North Carolina, and Jan Kettenring of North Brunswick; her brother, William Edly of High­land Park; six sisters, Elizabeth Drosback of Hackettstown, Helen Petrjcik of Somerset, Rosemary Reese of Tabernacle, Irene Hunter of Piscataway, Mary Nelson of Roselle, and Barbara Larson of Weeki Wachi, Fla; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A funeral liturgy was offered at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, North Brunswick. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Memorial donations may be made to American Parkinson’s Disease Association, P.O. Box 5273, Kendall Park 08824; or Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Route 130 north, North Brunswick 08902. Arrangements were by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown.

Linda Nowikow Langone

Mrs. Langone, 48, of Helmetta died Sept. 19 at home. She was employed by the East Brunswick Department of Public Safety. Prior to that, she worked for the East Brunswick Parks and Recreation Department. Surviving are her husband, Ralph Langone; a brother, John Nowikow of South River; and two sisters, Brenda Fama Ellis of West Deptford and Debbie Nowikow of South Brunswick. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the East Brunswick PBA, Attn.: Special Olympics, P.O. Box 4, East Brunswick, NJ 08816.

Michael J. Kucher

Mr. Kucher, 39, of Bradley Beach died Dec. 6 at home. Born in Neptune, he had lived there before moving to Bradley Beach three years ago. He was a graduate of Manalapan High School and the DeVry Institute, North Brunswick, where in 1988 he earned a bachelor of science degree in electronics engineering. He was a Web site developer who operated New Jersey Cyber Service. Mr. Kucher had served in the U.S. Navy’s submarine service and was a member of the Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Commission, as well as the Raritan Bay division of the U.S. Power Squadron. Surviving are his father, Leonard George Kucher of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; his mother, Rosemary Skord Kucher of Lakewood; a brother, Leonard Kucher of Spring Hill, Fla.; four sisters, Suzanne Muller of Flemington, Lillian Davis and Carolyn Trimmoli, both of Lee’s Summit, and Marianne Tammera of Belvidere; eleven nieces and nephews; and his fiancée, Joann Walsh, with whom he had lived. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at the Stella Maris Retreat Center in Elberon, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury 07702.

Paul F. Callaghan

Mr. Callaghan, 64, of Richboro, Pa., died Dec. 7 at his brother’s home in Manalapan. Born in Philadelphia, he had lived in Richboro for the past 30 years and was a retired mechanical engineer. He was a graduate of La Salle High School and had attended Drexel University, Philadelphia. A veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division, he was an avid pilot who went on to earn his private pilot’s license in Florida. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Russell J. and Jennifer A. Callaghan of Southampton, Pa.; a daughter, Anna Veronica Callaghan of Philadelphia; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Frances Callaghan, and Wendel and Dolores Callaghan of Manalapan; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann Marie Pearce, Catherine and George Oakley, and Agnes and George Kozub; and two grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan, followed by interment, which was private. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Caring Hospice Services, 525 Route 70 W., Lakewood 08701.
