Services for Earlen Harden, 87, of Plainfield will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Second Macedonia Baptist Church, 1251 Fairmount Ave., Elizabeth. Arrangements are by the Plinton-Curry Funeral Home, Westfield.
Mr. Harden, who died Friday in the Berkeley Heights Convalescent Home, Berkeley Heights, worked for Metz Metallurgical, South Plainfield, before retiring many years ago.
He served as a deacon at the Second Macedonia Baptist Church, Elizabeth.
Born in Savannah, Ga., he lived in Plainfield for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Rosa Lee; a daughter, Mrs. Cleeverne Brown; three stepsons, Napoleon, Abdul Ali and Marvin Brodie; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Denise Cummings and Ms. Rosemary Brodie; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

John Jensen

Services for John W. Jensen, 72, of Freehold will be held at 8 o’clock this evening in the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main St., Freehold.
Mr. Jensen, who died Tuesday at home, was an underwriting analyst for Kemper Insurance Co., Summit, for more than 30 years before retiring in 1992.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Jensen graduated from New York University.
He was a board member of the Sayreville Library and a member of the F&AM Star of Hope Lodge 430, Queens.
Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Sayreville for 38 years before moving to Freehold in 1992.
Surviving are Rose, his wife of 50 years; a son, Peter; three daughters, Mrs. Susan Nistico, Ms. Jeananne Jensen and Mrs. Kathryn Macchiaverna, and 11 grandchildren.

Florian P. Ryczaj

A Mass for Florian P. Ryczaj, 89, of Elizabeth will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Adalbert Church, Elizabeth, after the funeral from the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East St. Georges Ave., Linden.
Mr. Ryczaj, who died Monday in Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth, was a machine operator with the Phelps Dodge Co. in Elizabeth for more than 30 years before retiring in 1974.
Born in Blizne, Poland, he lived in New York City before moving to Elizabeth in 1941.
Surviving are Josephine M., his wife of 59 years, and daughters, Mrs. Lorraine J. Dumke, Mrs. Rose Marie M. Mastronardi and Mrs. Christine E. Wolff.

Walter E. Lemke

Services for Walter E. Lemke, 78, of Berkeley Township will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Toms River, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River.
Mr. Lemke, who died Tuesday at home, was a driver with Anheuser Busch Inc., Newark, for 16 years before retiring in 1987. Previously, he worked in the same capacity for P. Ballantine and Sons, Newark, for 26 years.
Mr. Lemke was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 153, Joint Council 73 for 21 years.
He served as a sergeant in the Army during World War II and graduated from Biarritz University in France with a degree in accounting and sales.
Mr. Lemke had been a vice chairman of the Piscataway Zoning Board. He was a member of the of the Wilkens Eureka Lodge 39 L&AM in Irvington and the Harmony Lodge 18 F&AM in Toms River and a past president of the Holiday City Carefree Men’s Club in Berkeley Township.
Born in Newark, Mr. Lemke lived in Piscataway before moving to Berkeley Township in 1988.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred; two sons, Douglas A. and Ronald K.; a sister, Mrs. Elsie L. Louis, and a grandchild.

Rose LoPiccolo

Mrs. Rose LoPiccolo, 78, of Avenel died yesterday in the Hartwyck at Edison Estates in Edison.
A Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Matthew’s Church, Edison, following the funeral from the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave., Edison.
Mrs. LoPiccolo worked in the distribution department of Revlon Inc. in Edison for seven years until the company closed.
Born in Rome, Italy, she lived in Roselle Park before moving to Avenel 40 years ago.
Surviving are her husband, Charles; a son, Charles A.; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Osborn; a sister, Mrs. Mary Lepinski; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Ralph Lo Pilato

A Mass for Ralph J. Lo Pilato, 86, of Belleville will be offered at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona. Arrangements are by Caggiano Memorial, Montclair.
Mr. Lo Pilato, who died Tuesday at home, was a salesman with Claire Decorators in Newark for 30 years before retiring 21 years ago.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Born in Boston, he lived in Newark and Verona before moving to Belleville 43 years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Marion; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Dennis E. Lange Sr.

Services for Dennis E. Lange Sr., 59, of Newark will be at noon Saturday in the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood.
Mr. Lange, who died Tuesday in University Hospital, Newark, was a maintenance worker for the Essex County Parks Department in Newark for 20 years before retiring.
Born in Newark, he lived there most of his life.
Surviving are a son, Dennis E. Jr., and a brother, Richard E.
