HAMILTON -- Andrew Hornyak Jr., 88, died Thursday at Water's Edge Convalescent Center, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Trenton-Hamilton area resident.
He retired from Textron Inc. of Bordentown in 1983. Prior to that, he worked for Gihon Golf Bags of Trenton for more than 20 years.
Son of the late Andrew and Mary, husband of the late Beatrice and father of the late Richard he is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Basford of Ewing; a sister, Mary Tobin of Yardville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Steven and Frances Hornyak of New Egypt, and John and Peg Hornyak of Allentown, N.J.; a granddaughter, Doreen Pieslak; two grandsons, Edward and Brian Basford; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Saul Memorial Home, 1740 Greenwood Ave., Trenton, with clergy from the Hungarian Reformed Church officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Saul Memorial Home.

Jack L. Garwig

FALLS, Pa. -- Jack L. Garwig, 81, died Tuesday at Delaware Valley Hospital in Bucks County.
Born in Elwood City, Pa., he was a Levittown resident.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Marine Corps.
He worked for U.S. Steel for more than 30 years, retiring in 1968. He enjoyed camping and was the national chaplain of N.C.T.
He was a member of Free and Accepted Masons Elwood City Lodge No. 599, LeFair Chapter 535 Order of the Eastern Star, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville since 1954, serving on the Session for several years.
Husband of the late Margaret E. Relph Garwig, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Lee R. and Ann Garwig; grandchildren Amy Garwig, Tina Garwig and Mark Savoie; and a dear friend and companion, Julie Schappell.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. May 15 at Morrisville Presbyterian Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville, 771 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, Pa., 19067.
Arrangements are by Beck-Givnish Funeral Home of Lower Bucks.

George H. Denow Sr.

LAWRENCE -- George H. Denow Sr., 87, died Wednesday at Capital Health System at Fuld.
Born in Lawrenceville, he was a lifelong resident.
He retired in 1973 as a tool and die maker with Thikol-Panelyte after 40 years of service.
He was a member of Beaver Dam Hunting and Fishing Club, Trenton Polish American Democratic Club and the Trenton Camera Club.
Son of the late August and Katherian Weber Denow, he is survived by his wife, Jennie Kolasky Denow; a son and daughter-in-law, George H. Jr. and Gail Denow of Lawrenceville; two grandchildren, Joanann Rafferty and Katherine Ostermiller; a great-granddaughter;two sisters, Katherine Mura of San Diego, Calif., and Edna Ranke of Lawrenceville; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, with Joan W. Semenuk, associate for Pastoral Ministry at the Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Lawrenceville Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be to the American Diabetes Association, Central Regional Chapter, 200 Cottontail Lane, Somerset, N.J. 08873.

Marie S. Castello

RARITAN TOWNSHIP -- A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Magdalen's Church, Flemington, for Marie S. Castello, 44, who died March 31 at home.
Born in Paterson, she lived in Hazlet then Monroe Township for 13 years before coming to Raritan Township in 1993.
Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington.
Memorial contributions may be made to "The Marie Castello Memorial Fund to Benefit Causes Close to Marie's Heart," C/O St. Magdalen's Church, 105 Mine St., Flemington, N.J. 08822. Arrangements were by Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, Flemington.

Terry L. Bogdziewicz

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Terry L. West Bogdziewicz, 44, died Thursday at Fort Myers Hospice.
Born in Mount Holly, N.J., she was lived in Bay Head, N.J., before moving to Fort Myers five years ago.
She was a homemaker and had owned the Lakeview Inn for senior citizens in Bay Head.
She was a graduate of Northern Burlington High School and attended the Barbizon School of Modeling. She was first runner-up in the 1983 Mrs. New Jersey Pageant.
Daughter of the late Carl West, she is survived by a son, Alan of Bay Head; a daughter, Parrish Bogdziewicz of Point Pleasant, N.J.; her mother, Elsie Sager of Wrightstown, N.J.; two sisters, Michele Gazonas of Mount Laurel, N.J., and Melissa Bauma of Jacksonville, N.J.; a brother, Darrell West of Mount Holly, N.J.; her maternal grandmother, Elsie Sager of Jobstown, N.J.; her paternal grandmother, Clara West of Jacobstown, N.J.; three nieces; a nephew; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main St., New Egypt, N.J., with the Rev. Barbara Macafee officiating.
Burial will be in Jacobstown Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

William K. Allegar Sr.
04/23/99
EWING -- William K. Allegar Sr., 69, died Wednesday at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Born in Ringoes, he was a Ewing/Hopewell Township area resident 42 years.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He worked with Homosote Co. of Ewing 20 years as a mechanic, retiring in 1994 as supervisor.
He enjoyed fishing and sports.
Son of the late Foster and Edna Allegar and father of the late Cheryl Allegar, he is survived by his wife, Phyllis J. Allegar; two sons and daughters-in-law, William K. Jr. and Georgia Allegar of Ewing, and Randy and Theresa Allegar of Morrisville, Pa.; and a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Richard Moore of Ewing; seven grandchildren, Nicole Moore, Edward Jackson, Christina Jackson, Jodie Allegar, Thomas Fritsch, Crystal Allegar and Melanie Allegar; and two great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St., Pennington, with the Rev. George Lynch, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Hopewell, officiating.
Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Park, Franklin Township.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Blackwell Memorial Home.

Thomas Dorin

ALLENTOWN, N.J. -- Thomas E. Dorin, 95, died Wednesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton.
Born in Burlington County, he was an Allentown resident 60 years.
He was a mechanic for Hibbs Construction Co. in Morrisville, Pa., until retiring.
Husband of the late Lenora Dorin, he is survived by two sisters-in-law, Ada Louise Dorin of Allentown and Frances Dorin of Mount Laurel; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Green Park, Marlboro, with the Rev. Archie Cummings, pastor of Allentown Union AME Church, officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are by Peppler Funeral Home.
