JACKSON -- Aroldo B. Petroni, 89, died Monday at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood.
Born in Trenton, he was a Trenton area resident for 44 years. He lived in Florida for four years before moving to the Whiting and Jackson areas five years ago.
He owned Petroni and Son Construction Co., Hamilton, retiring in 1974 after 30 years.
Son of the late Pietro and Virginia Bernini Petroni, husband of the late Ersilia Trevisani Petroni, father of the late Silvio and Pietro Petroni, brother of the late Osvaldo Petroni, Helen Bartolini and Lena Di Nola and grandfather of the late Dianna Cipriani, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Rita Petroni of Melbourne, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Joseph Cipriani of Robbinsville; a sister, Viola Mc Kinley of Trenton; two daughters-in-law, Geraldine and Rosie Petroni of Trenton; seven grandchildren; and other relatives.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday from Brenna Funeral Home, 340 Hamilton Ave., Trenton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Julius C. Parker
04/21/99
BRISTOL, Pa. -- Julius C. "J.C." Parker, 85, died Friday at Fox Chase Medical Center, Philadelphia.
Born in Sandersville, Ga., he was a Bristol area resident since 1952.
He retired from Penn Fruit Co. of Philadelphia.
He was a member of Community Baptist Church of Bristol and its trustee board, serving as sexton for 20 years.
He is survived by two stepdaughters, Lois Singleton and Johnnie May Lynch of Bristol; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; cousins; and a special grandson, Dontae Wilkinson , with whom he lived.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Community Baptist Church, 1439 Ashby St., with the Rev. Joseph Wright, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Bristol Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until service at the church Thursday.

Betty Lavine

EWING -- Betty Lavine, 91, died Monday at Greenwood House Nursing Home.
Born in Russia, she lived in the New Jersey area since 1929.
She was a clerk at the state Department of Motor Vehicles, retiring in 1970. She was a former member of Congregation Brothers of Israel and its sisterhood. She was a member of American Association of Retired Persons.
Wife of the late Albert Lavine, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Maxwell Schlom of Langhorne, Pa.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Brothers of Israel Cemetery, Hamilton, with Rabbi Howard Hersch officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House Nursing Home, 53 Walter St., Ewing, N.J. 08628.
Arrangements are by Riverside Memorial Chapel.

Nicholas P. Katsiotis
04/21/99
NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. -- Nicholas P. Katsiotis, 80, died April 14 at home.
Born in Gavrion, Andros, Greece, he lived in Hightstown, N.J., before moving to Florida in 1989.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Katsiotis of New Port Richey; a son and daughter-in-law, Peter N. and Sue Katsiotis of St. Paul, Minn.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Valia and Dennis Simpson of Englishtown, N.J., and Anthy Katsiotis of Lawrenceville, N.J.; two grandchildren, Marianna P. and Nicholas P. Katsiotis; and two sisters, Stamatina Petrakis and Helen Katsiotis, both of Greece.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, 9426 Little Road, New Port Richey.
Entombment will be in Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at North Meadowlawn Funeral Home, 4244 Madison St.

Paul Kamaras Jr.
04/21/99
HAMILTON -- Paul Kamaras Jr., 54, died Tuesday at Kennedy Medical Center, Stratford.
Born in Jersey City, he lived in New Egypt before moving to Hamilton 14 years ago.
He worked for AT&T and was a member of Amwell Church of the Brethren.
Son of the late Paul and Carmela Ruggerri Kamaras, he is survived by his wife, Dorothy Marie Roller Kamaras; two sisters, Silkie Ware and Angie Kalel, both of California; three brothers, John Kamaras of Florida, Nick Kamaras of Bordentown and Gregory Kamaras of Medford; and other relatives.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Amwell Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Robert DiSalvio, pastor, and the Rev. Mark Miller, pastor and nephew of the deceased, co-officiating.
Burial will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bordentown.
Calling hours will be 1 p.m. until service Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amwell Church of the Brethren, 40 Sandbrook-Headquarters Road, Stockton, N.J. 08559.
Arrangements are by Knott's Colonial Funeral Home.

Clifford C. Jorgensen
04/21/99
BEDFORD, Va. -- Clifford C. Jorgensen, 83, died Monday in Jupiter, Fla.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a longtime resident of Falls Church and lived in Salisbury before moving to Bedford two years ago.
He retired as a general contractor.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Virginia many years.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Husband of the late Marion Louise Jorgensen, he is survived by a sister-in-law, Fay Wilk of Bradenton, Fla.; two brothers-in-law, William Valentine of Jupiter and Les Dohl of New Hampshire; and a nephew.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday from Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, N.J., with the Rev. Monsignor Leonard R. Toomey officiating.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Allentown.
Calling hours will be 9:30 a.m. until service Saturday at the funeral home.

Jonathan F. Fowler
04/21/99
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Jonathan F. Fowler, 49, died April 11.
Born in Trenton, he lived in Barnegat, N.J.; Charleston, W.Va.; Rocksville, Md.; Youngstown, Ohio; and Saudia Arabia.
He was a longtime Cleveland resident and a longtime employee of General Electric Supply.
He was a member of Western Reserve Rowing Association and area ski clubs.
Son of the late Thaddeus and Margaret Fowler, he is survived by two brothers, Ted of Cincinnati and Bob of Browns Mills, N.J.; two nephews, Daren and Brian of Cincinnati; and cousins.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, Pa., with the Rev. John Eckert, pastor of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Solebury, Pa.
Calling hours will be 1:30 p.m. until service Saturday at the funeral home.
