HAMILTON -- Gertrude E. "Trudy" Beatty, 86, died Thursday at home.
Born in Tullytown, Pa., she lived in Hamilton 43 years.
She retired in 1973 after 25 years with General Motors Inland Fisher Guide, Ewing. She enjoyed playing the organ.
Wife of the late Paul J. Beatty, she is survived by a son, Paul G. Beatty and his companion Alice Rossetti of Hamilton; a daughter and son-in-law, Edith L. and Tom Mulryne, of Hamilton; a sister, Clara Petras of Yardley, Pa.; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nieces.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Molden Funeral Chapel, 133 Otter St., Bristol, Pa.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 10 a.m. until service Monday at the funeral home.

John Szalay Jr.
11/13/99
TRENTON -- John Szalay Jr., 89, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Skilled Nursing Center, Lawrenceville.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
He retired as a produce manager for Acme Markets in the Trenton area.
Mr. Szalay was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion.
Son of the late John and Juliana Gonczi Szalay and husband of the late Elizabeth R. Pachuta Szalay, he is survived by two sisters, Irene Canto of Yardville and Rosella Leszczynski of Lawrenceville; a brother, Arpad of Nashville, Tenn.; and other relatives.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Rogers Funeral Home, 929 S. Clinton Ave.
Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until service Monday at the funeral home.

Albert Reed III
11/13/99
HAMILTON -- Albert Reed III, 55, died Friday at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
He was a former lab technician with Lockheed Martin, Windsor.
Mr. Reed served in the Coast Guard from 1962 to 1966 on the cutter "Spencer."
He was a member of the Hamilton Elks Lodge Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks 2262 and Cook Athletic Association, Trenton.
Son of the late Albert Jr. and Alma Cook Reed, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Shaw Reed; a son, David W. of Quakertown, Pa.; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer L. and Peter M. DeLucia of Hamilton; two grandsons, Sean Hart and Kyle DeLucia; and three nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. today at Pearson United Methodist Church, 71 Pearson Drive, with the Rev. Roderick Mills, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be private.
There will be no calling hours.

Griffin Rambough
11/13/99
TRENTON -- Griffin Rambough, 78, died Sunday at home.
Born in Bainbridge, Ga., he was a longtime Trenton resident.
He formerly worked for Fairless Steel Mills, Levittown, Pa., and the Trenton Detoxification Center many years.
Son of the late Flora Mae and Harry Rambough, he is survived by his wife, Juanita Rambough; five sons, Griffin B. of Newark, Brian A. of Atlantic City, Arthur H. III of Emmitsburg, Md., John and Alrich of Trenton; five daughters, Delores McNeese, Marie, Marion and Joyce Rambough, all of Trenton, and Barbara Crawford of Hamilton; five stepdaughters, Barbara Peoples and Beverly Fireall of Trenton, Olivia Robinson of Raleigh, N.C., Brenda Wells and Bernice Johnson of Atlanta; three sisters, Nettie Garrett of New York City, Mary Dean and Winifrid Pollard of Trenton; a special caregiver, Guy Westcott; 31 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Christian funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's AME Zion Church, 308 N. Willow St., with the Rev. Charles H. Wilson, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until service Monday at the church.
Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Service.

Angel Kaleah Lawery
11/13/99
TRENTON -- Angel Kaleah Lawery, infant daughter of Kimila Wells and Lewis Lawery Sr., died Thursday at St. Francis Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Lewis Jr. and Rashon Lawery; a sister, Kiara Jefferson; paternal grandmother, Beverly Lawery; maternal grandmother, Maureen Rivera; and paternal grandfather, West Lawery, all of Trenton; maternal grandfather, Frank Wells of Richmond, Va., paternal great-grandmother, Louise Sumter of Trenton; and other relatives.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. today at Ewing Cemetery, with the Rev. Kevin Stevenson officiating.
Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel.

Eve F. Kraft
11/13/99
PRINCETON TOWNSHIP -- Eve F. Kraft, 73, died Thursday.
Born in Philadelphia, she lived in Princeton Township many years.
She was a national tennis teacher, author and the first women's varsity coach of Princeton University. She retired as founder and executive director of the United States Tennis Association's Education and Recreation Center.
She was acknowledged by Tennis Magazine as "one of the 20 most influential people" in national tennis. In 1955, she began teaching a group of neighborhood children on public courts and founded the Princeton Community Tennis Program.
As a consultant to the President's Council of Physical Fitness and Sports , she was instrumental in instructing teachers and coaches how to teach tennis. She was co-founder and director of the annual USTA National Tennis Teachers Conference, held yearly during the U.S. Open in New York City. She transmitted tennis-teaching basics and community-organizing skills to hundreds of tennis professionals.
She became the first women's varsity tennis coach in 1971, when Princeton University first admitted women. She led her team to an undefeated record during her three years as coach. Also in 1971, she founded the United States Tennis Association Education and Resources Center, the first national Center devoted to providing educational resources for community-based tennis programs.
She wrote "The Tennis Workbook," "The Tennis Teacher's Guide to Group Instruction and Community Tennis Programming," was a free-lancer for Parents magazine and wrote a monthly column for Tennis USA magazine.
In 1994, she was inducted into the USTA/Middle States Tennis Hall of Fame and the International Tennis Association's Women's Collegiate Hall of Fame in 1996.
After retiring, she became active in the field of community-based mental health support services, working with Princeton Area Community Foundation and Carrier Clinic of Skillmanto establish the Steven A. Kraft Fund. Her efforts were devoted to providing a network of resources to support families of the mentally ill.
She graduated with honors in 1943 from Philadelphia High School for Girls, where she was president of the Honor Society, and received a bachelor's in political science from Antioch College in 1947.
Wife of the late Lewis S. Kraft, she is survived by two sons, Kenneth of Haverford, Pa., and Robert of Los Angeles; four grandchildren, Eva, Louise, Noah and Lucas; and her companion, G. Reginald Bishop Jr.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Princeton University Chapel, Washington Road, Princeton University Campus.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Kraft Family Memorial Fund, in care of Princeton Area Community Foundation, 188 Tamarack Circle, Skillman, N.J. 08558.
Arrangements are by Kimble Funeral Home.

Stephen A. Kish
11/13/99
NORTH BRUNSWICK -- Stephen A. Kish, 77, died Thursday at home.
Born in Kingston, he lived in North Brunswick 50 years.
He retired after 40 years as owner of Kish's Atlantic Service Center and later Kish's Arco Service Center, North Brunswick.
Mr. Kish was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 102nd Infantry Division, Europe. He was with General Patton's Fifth Army in Germany on V-E Day and was awarded the Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman's Badge and Victory Medal.
He was a member of American Legion, A. Leigh Pardun Post 459, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Clark-Moetz Post 2319, Milltown, where he was voted man of the year in 1964.
Mr. Kish was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick, where he was president of the social committee in 1985 and started the Saturday Morning Crew in 1988. He was presented the Regina Nostra Award by Bishop Edward T. Hughes in 1996.
He was past president of the Lions Club, member of the Memorial Day parade committee, the parade's grand marshal in 1985, and president of North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce. He assisted in the development of a program to combat drug abuse.
He was also a member of the Industrial Committee which worked to attract other businesses to the township. He was a leader of Boy Scout Troop 18 more than 35 years and led the scouts on a trip to their national camp in Philmont, N.M., in 1960.
In 1994, he was presented the Heritage Award in recognition of 45 years of service to the township.
Brother of the late Joseph, Louis and Alex Kish, Elizabeth Gery, Annie Kocsis and Julie Deak, he is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sophie Raduzycki Kish; a son, Stephen Jr. of North Brunswick; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Gary Moon of Cream Ridge; a sister, Margaret Bohaboy of North Brunswick; a brother, George of Freehold; and four grandchildren, Ann Marie, Nicole, Kelly and Dennis Kish.
Funeral will be 9:15 a.m. Monday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road.
Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick.
Burial will be in Van Liew Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral Home.
