NORTH HANOVER -- Francis R. Lear, 82, died Sunday at Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hamilton Square.
Born in New Hope, Pa., he lived in Wrightstown for 17 years.
He retired after 26 years with the Hopewell Township Department of Public Works, roads division.
Son of the late John and Mary Eveland Lear, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Young Lear; two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia Gorish of West Amwell and Jane and Robert Doron of Hopewell Township; three sisters, Marion Owens of Ohio, Catherine Wim and June Nalence of Lambertville; seven grandchildren, five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main St., New Egypt, with the Rev. Doris Cowan officiating.
Burial will be in Titusville Methodist Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Lawrence Leadlie
02/29/00
CRANBURY TOWNSHIP -- Lawrence Leadlie, 87, died Saturday at The Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Cranbury.
Mr. Leadlie retired from First Union Bank in New Brunswick in 1987. He previously worked with the Arabian American Oil Co. in Saudi Arabia and Liberia Mining Co. in Liberia, both for six years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Leadlie; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at the Queenship of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Dey Road, Plainsboro.
Burial will be in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the A.S. Cole Son & Co., 22 North Main St., Cranbury.

Andreas Glumow
02/29/00
EWING -- Andreas Glumow, 91, died Sunday at Millhouse Nursing Home, Trenton.
Born in Sartev, Russia, he lived in the West Trenton area after coming to the United States in 1957.
He retired in 1965 after 20 years with Robertson R. Tiles Co., Morrisville, Pa. He worked with the U.S. Army occupation forces in Germany from 1945 to 1947.
He served as an officer with the Russian Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Miedl Glumow; two brothers, John and Alex of Russia; and relatives in Russia.
Funeral will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at Winowicz Funeral Home, Adeline and Beatty streets, Trenton, with the Rev. Boniface Ruzich officiating.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.

Samuel J. Getlen
02/29/00
EWING -- Samuel J. Getlen, 61, died Sunday at home.
Born in Trenton, he lived in Ewing and previously in Iowa and Washington state.
He retired as a salesman with the Montgomery Ward department stores in Iowa and Washington state.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Son of the late John and Jane Kelly Getlen, he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and Joseph Costanzo of Hamilton; five cousins, Lisa and Phillip Quinto of Yardville, Pat and Chet Morley and Jack Durborow, all of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and a close friend, Lynn Housel of Waretown.
Private memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, Hamilton.
Burial will be private.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are by Hartmann Funeral Home, Mercerville.

Helen Damiani
02/29/00
TRENTON -- Helen J. Montiel Damiani, 98, died Sunday at Forrestal Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at the Windrows, Princeton.
Born in Mexico City, she lived in New York City before moving to Trenton in 1969.
Mrs. Damiani became an American citizen in 1942. She was a member of Holy Cross Church.
Daughter of the late Augustine and Filipa Santillan Montiel, wife of the late John A. Damiani Sr. and mother of the late Helen Craddock; she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John A. Jr. and Edith Damiani of East Brunswick; two daughters and a son-in-law, Margaret Short of Houston, Texas, and Gloria and George DeOrio of Tarrytown, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, John A. III, Steve, Glen and Mark Damiani, Scott Craddock, Stacy Jeffers, Laura and Dolores M. DeOrio.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Winowicz Funeral Home, Adeline and Beatty streets.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Adeline and Arch streets, with Monsignor Edward J. Arnister officiating.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Cross Renovation Fund, 201 Adeline St., Trenton, N.J. 08650. Mass cards may be given in lieu of donations.

Salvatore Del Caro Jr.
02/29/00
TRENTON -- Salvatore Del Caro Jr., 51, died Monday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
Son of the late Salvatore and Iole Ciampini Borgianini Del Caro and brother of the late Fabio Borgianini, he is survived by a special cousin, Edith Skorupa of Hamilton; and other cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Ave., Trenton.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Chambers D'Errico & Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers St., Trenton.

Alexander G. Brigham
02/29/00
LAKEWOOD TOWNSHIP -- Alexander `Al' G. Brigham, 21, died Saturday.
Born in Trenton, he lived in Millstone Township before moving to Lakewood four years ago.
He served in the Air Force for two years before his discharge last year.
A graduate of Lakewood High School, Mr. Brigham was studying to be an actor or comedian at Ocean County College in the Theater Arts program.
He was a communicant at St. Mary's of the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Lakewood.
He is survived by his mother, Christine Schweickert of Lakewood; his father, Alexander S. Brigham of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; a sister, Shannon Hart of Lakewood; his maternal grandparents, Gustave and Marie Mastrangelo Schweickert of Trenton; his paternal grandmother, Lucille Brigham; a niece, Alexandria; and a nephew, Myles Hart.
Arrangements are by Lakewood Funeral Home, Howell.
