Dedio, Antoinette (nee Grappone), 98, of Butler died Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Bloomingdale Health Care Center. Mrs. Dedio, was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony's Church and Riverdale Senior Citizens. Mrs. Dedio lived in Butler, NJ since1993 and was previously from Riverdale and Florida. Beloved mother of three sons, Joseph of Franklin Lakes, Michael of Naples, Fl. and Samuel of Riverdale, a daughter, Phyllis Taylor of Pompton Plains, dear sister of Evelyn Matteo and Fannie Cantalupo both of Maspeth, Queens, NY, also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony (1987). She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Michael and Josephine (Bifalco) Grappone. Funeral services 8:30 PM Saturday, Dec. 29th at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Friends may call Saturday 2-4 and 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Compassionate Care Hospice, Suite 200, Parsippany or the American Red Cross would be greatly appreciated.

Ehrmann, Juliet T., (Seibert) 81, died Monday, January 07, 2008 at Chilton Hospital in Pequannock. Mrs. Ehrmann was born in Newark, the daughter of Carl and Juliet (Mac Brair) Seibert. She was raised in West Orange, lived in East Orange and Clifton before moving to Riverdale. She was a stay at home mom until 1985, starting her second career at The Printed Word Bookstore as a sales clerk until retiring in 1994. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Charles, Sr. (2001), loving mother of three sons, Charles F. Jr. of Wayne, Douglas Gerard of Chester, NY, Scott Joseph of West Milford, and four daughters Julie Albrecht of Sparta, Pamela Ann Gubick of Riverdale, Robin Jude Lozosky of Ringwood, Sandra Mary Stewart of Easton, PA dear sister of Carl Seibert of Sussex, Gayle Hammond of Lakewood, cherished Grandmother of sixteen and great-grandmother of eleven. Funeral services 11:00 AM Friday, January 11, 2008 at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Friends may call Thursday from 1-4 PM and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers family requests donations to the American Lung Association, 1600 Route 22 East, Union, NJ 07083 would be greatly appreciated.

Golembieski, Barbara A. (Pigut) age 76, a homemaker from Pompton Lakes on Saturday, January 5, 2008. A resident of Pompton Lakes for the past eleven years, she moved here from North Arlington. Mrs. Golembieski was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church and the Pompton Lakes Seniors. Survived by her husband, Stanley and one daughter, Janet Castellano of Pompton Lakes: also survived by two grandchildren Jessica and Laura Leigh and several cousins. Predeceased by a brother, Charles in 2004. Funeral liturgy on Wednesday, January 9 at 10 AM from St. Mary’s Church, Pompton Lakes. Friends may call at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Interment at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. Griesan, Gerard F., 86, a retired engineer for AT&T, New York City, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at his home in Ringwood, NJ. Mr. Griesan was a resident of Ringwood for 46 years and previously from Valley Stream, NY. Born in Germany, he was the son of the late Frederick and Suzanne (Wagenfield) Griesan. Beloved husband of Elsie (Schnakenberg), loving father of two daughters, Linda Elaine Griesan of New York City and Jennifer Ann Griesan of Ringwood, cherished grandfather of Randolph Gerard. He was preceded in death by a son, Randolph Gerard Griesan, He served in the Air Force during World War II. Funeral services 11:00 AM Saturday at United Midvale Methodist Church, 490 Ringwood Ave., Wanaque, NJ. Final disposition private.

Hayek, John G. 87, a retired textile operator for Poughkeepsie Dye & Finishing, Paterson, died Monday, January 14, 2008 at National Home Care in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Mr. Hayek was previously from Pompton Lakes. Mr Hayek was a member of the Pompton Lakes VFW 2906, American Legion Post 438 (60 Years), Paterson, St. Mary’s Church and Golden Agers both of Pompton Lakes. Beloved husband of the late Agnes (Esso). Loving father of two sons, George and John Hayek, cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren and five great-granchildren. He was born in Detroit, Michigan the son of George and Adele (Sahwan) Hayek. He served in the Army during World War II. Funeral services 10 AM Friday January 18, at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 & 7-9PM.

Osborne, Harold L., age 88, a lifelong resident of Pompton Lakes on Sunday, January 20, 2008. Before retiring, he was employed as a coiler for E. I. Du Pont for 38 years. An Army veteran, he served in WW II and fought at the Battle of the Bulge and was a prisoner of war (POW) for one year. Surviving are two sons, Donald of Oak Ridge and Harold R. of Pompton Lakes; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. His wife, Martha (Munson) Osborne predeceased him 1992. Funeral services on Wednesday, January 23 at 11 AM from the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale with Pastor Tom Bartha officiating. Interment at Pompton Lakes Reformed Church Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9PM.

Schilling, Benedict L. 86, beloved husband of the late Edna (Leppert)(1999), on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at NJ Veterans Home in Paramus. Mr. Schilling lived in West Milford, NJ since 1996 and was previously from Dumont. He was a retired foreman for Lowe Paper Company, Ridgefield. Surviving are three daughters: Donna Mahon and her husband John of West Milford, Janet Celler and her husband Allen of GA, Kristine Parrella and her husband Eugene of Whitehouse Station, NJ; a brother, Harry of Bergenfield; a sister, Cecelia Hill of VA; five grandchildren: Laura, Matthew and Emma Parrella, Timothy Celler and Allison Haldenan and one great grandson, Cole Celler. He was born in Millville, NJ the son of the late Walter and Cecelia (Osterman) Schilling. He served in the Navy during World War II having attained the rank of Fire Controlman 2c. Funeral Liturgy Monday, 10:30 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt. Final disposition is private. Visiting at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the West Milford 1st Aid Squad, P.O. Sendik, Lauren Elizabeth, age 18, of Wanaque, entered Eternal Life on December 22nd, 2007. Beloved daughter of Patricia E. Carhart and James J. Sendik. Loving sister of Gregory, Daniel, and Caitlyn. Cherished granddaughter of Wilma Sendik, the late John Sendik, and the late Helen Carhart. Formerly from Clifton, Lauren attended St. Clare School and helped win cheerleading competitions for her team. Lauren resided in Wanaque since 2003 and attended Lakeland Regional High School and Passaic County Technical Institute. She loved her job, her pets, and enjoyed spending time with her many friends. Visiting hours will be Thursday, December 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday, December 28th at Saint Mary’s Church in Pompton Lakes, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Bloomingdale Animal Shelter in Lauren’s name.

Toussas, Georgia, nee (Marountas) 67, died Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. Ms Toussas was a 40 year resident of Pompton Lakes previously from Paterson. She was a retired assembler from Data Scope Corp., Fairfield, where she worked for 20 years. The beloved daughter of the late George and Bessie (Valsamis) Marountas, loving mother of Helana Ekonomides and her husband Minas of Pompton Lakes, dear sister of Jennie Figliolino of Haskell, Ernestine and Norman James of Forked River, Frieda and Herman Harrison of Manahawkin. Also survived by a grandson Yianni and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services 8:30 PM Sunday December 30, 2007 at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike., Riverdale. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

Ugrovics, Joseph G. age 77 of West Milford on Sunday, January 6, 2008. A resident of West Milford for the past 47 years, having moved here from Garfield. Mr. Ugrovics was a former fire chief for the Macopin Fire Co. # 4 of West Milford and a truck driver for Mead-Wilbert of Wayne. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Monks Ugrovics; three sons, Joseph W. of Hewitt, Scott L. of Branchville and Kevin P. of West Milford; two daughters, Debra L. Ugrovics of Bloomingdale and Kimberly Taylor of Hamburg; one brother, Robert of Manchester, NJ; one sister, Lila Amerspeck of Jefferson Township. Six grandchildren also survive. Firemen’s Service on Wednesday, January 9 at 8 PM at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. Disposition is private. Friends may call on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Van Dunk, Donald S., age 52, a retired mason from Haskell on Monday, January 14, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Van Dunk was a resident of Haskell for the past 3 years moving here from Ringwood, NJ. Surviving are two sons, Joshua of Haskell and Donald of CA; two daughters, Michelle and Lafon Van Dunk both of CA; three brothers, Jose Torres and Aron Van Dunk both of Ringwood and James H. DeGroot of Haskell; one sister, Sandra Van Dunk of Ringwood; two grandchildren, Alexis Sanjulian and Donald Arthur Van Dunk. Friends may call at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Thursday, January 17 from 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service at 8:30 PM. Disposition is private.
