MILDRED WHITE, 80, of Jamesburg died Oct. 30 in Monroe Village Health Care Center. Her husband, Arthur White Jr., died in 1992. Surviving are a son, Joseph White of Jackson; two daughters, Cheryl Soback of Ocean Grove and Karen Ellsworth of Nebraska; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Clayton and Son Funeral Home, Howell, with a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.

HENRY WINTJEN, 90, of Monroe, formerly of Spotswood, died Oct. 31 in CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. His wife, Emily Schuster Wintjen, died in 1985. Surviving are a daughter, Diane Lawson of the New Egypt section of Plumsted; a son, Donald Wintjen of West Chester, Pa.; a brother, Albert Wintjen of Fair Lawn; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, with services at Nativity Lutheran Church, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nativity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.

MARILYN HYDRUSKO ZANGARA, 52, of Spotswood died Oct. 31 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are a son, Robert of Metuchen; a daughter, Caitlin of Spotswood; her mother, Jessie Olsiewski Hydrusko of Spotswood; and a sister, Patricia Kiernan of Monroe. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, with services at Spotswood Reformed Church. Interment was in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265.

PAUL M. ZAWADSKY JR., 54, of South River died Oct. 27 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Surviving are his mother, Nancy Senko Zawadsky of South River; a sister, Nadya Silva of South River; a niece; his godmother, Marley O’Neill of Manasquan; and his godfather, Steve Senko of South River. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River, with services at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, South River.

HELEN STAFFA BAFFINO, 88, of Old Bridge died June 27 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Francis Baffino, died in 1998. Surviving are two daughters, Paula Reyes of Old Bridge and Toni Autote of Southbury, Conn.; and a granddaughter. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

ROSEMARY KEENEY, 55, of Old Bridge died July 5 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are a brother, Joseph Keeney of the Bronx, N.Y.; a sister, Julia Anne Keeney of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two nephews and three nieces. Services were held at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tourette Syndrome Association, 42-40 Bell Blvd., Bayside NY 11361.

RUDOLPH KONEN, 68, of Old Bridge died July 4 at home. Surviving are a son, Robert C. Konen, and a daughter, Sue Ann Reese, both of Sayreville. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.

LEONARD J. CONLON, 73, of Sayreville died July 3 in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Galligan Conlon; a son, John L. Conlon of Manalapan; a daughter, Eileen Zimmerman of Manalapan; two sisters, Evelyn Mantie of Brick and Joan Befumo of Whippany; and a granddaughter. Services were arranged by Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy, with a Mass at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.

ESTELLE LEVANDOWSKI STURGIS, 91, of Jackson died June 27 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Born in South Amboy, she lived in Jackson for the past 17 years. She was employed as a waitress at Ye Cottage Inn, Keyport, for 30 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Ira C. "Bud" Sturgis, in 1999; her sons, Raymond and Robert Leonard; a brother, Charles Levandowski; and sisters, Frances Busch and Mary Paradowski. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Julia Leonard of South Amboy; stepson Ronald and daughter-in-law Betty Sturgis of South Amboy; stepson John and daughter-in-law Chris Sturgis of South Amboy; stepson Wayne Sturgis of Atlantic City; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Services were arranged by Gundrum Funeral Home, South Amboy, with interment at Forest Green Park Cemetery, Morganville. Memorial donations may be made to South Amboy First Aid Squad, P.O. Box 328, South Amboy 08879.

JEAN MARIE WEBER, 65, formerly of South Amboy, died July 1 at Madison Center, Old Bridge. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Vincent and Lois Weber of South Amboy; a sister and a brother-in-law, Rita and Gerald Ceres of Holmdel; three nephews; two nieces; three great nephews; and three great nieces. Services were held at The Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy, with a Mass at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, also South Amboy. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Amboy.

EDWARD R. BACHMANN, 61, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of South River, died July 6 at home. His wife, Flora Wycislak Bachmann, died in 1988. Surviving are two sons, Raymond Bachmann and Randy Bachmann, both of South River; two daughters, Janette Dorio of Spotswood and Joanne Edwards of Old Bridge; two sisters, Miriam Morris of Bayville and Darlene Gheggeri of Bloomsbury; five grandchildren; and his companion, Jean Colagiacomi of Lakeland. Services were held at Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
