Nelson, Dewey F., 71, died Feb. 6, 2000 in Lakeland, FL. He was born Aug. 22, 1928 in Jamestown, the son of Dewey A. and Clara I. Brown Nelson. Surviving are a son, Gary D. Nelson; three daughters: Trudy Howles, Suzanne Clark, and Marlene Gibson; his mother; a sister, Betty Lord; and two brothers: Richard and Roger Nelson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia M. Ahlgren Nelson; and his father. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Falconer.

Waterhouse, Melissa H., 69, of Suwanee, GA, died Jan. 25, 2000. She was born in Mayville on Dec. 7, 1930. Surviving are her husband, Dale Waterhouse; a son, Ned D. Waterhouse; a daughter, Lisa W. Moses; and four sisters: Marjorie Dikeman, Jean Monaco, Betty Cuppini, and Sue Miller.

Johnson, Thomas S., 43, of Ludlow, died Feb. 6, 2000 in Meadville, PA. He was born Aug. 21, 1956, , the son of Clarence S. and M. Joan Carlson Johnson. Surviving are a daughter, Fayth McKay; a son, Joseph Wolfgang; his parents; four brothers, Stewart, Roger, Neil and Rodney Johnson; and four sisters: Mary Carol Rich, Jackie Dangelo, Barbara Johnson, and Julianne Horton. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Johnson. Burial was in Ludlow.

Swanson, Leslie E., 92, of Warren, Died Feb. 9, 2000 in Erie. Surviving are his wife, Erla L. Rankin Swanson; a son, Bruce L. Swanson; a daughter, Carol J. Pusateri; and two sisters: Evelyn Griffin and Linnea Johnson. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Gerald and Milton Swanson. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Carlson, Edith E., 89, died Feb. 9, 2000. She was born Feb. 16, 1910, the daughter of Labin and Anna King Bull. Surviving are two daughters: Mildred Marzalen and Anna McNally. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albin R. Carlson; a sister, Gladys Maus; and a brother, Francis Bull. Burial was in Lake View Cemetery.

Barber, Richard John, 73, of Randolph, died Feb. 8, 2000 in Buffalo. He was born April 24, 1926, the son of Ralph and Georgia Rhodes Barber. Surviving are two sisters: Lila Ripple and Joyce Flash. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janette Farrell Barber; and two brothers: Clair and Jim Barber. Burial was in Steamburg Cemetery.

Krestel, David R., 51, of Tempe, AZ, formerly of Jamestown, died Feb. 8, 2000 in his home. He was born April 19, 1948, the son of the late John and Olga Senn Krestel. Surviving are two daughters: Kristine and Stephanie Krestel; two brothers: Christopher and John Krestel; two sisters: Linda Kallquist and Madolyn Krestel.

Johnson, Margaret Thelma, 82, died Feb. 9, 2000. She was born Sept. 26, 1917 in Warren, the daughter of Gunnar and Anna Borg Lundmark. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Howard A. Johnson; three sons: Rodney Paul, Craig Eric, and Kenneth Mark Johnson; and a sister, Mary Ann Peterson. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Burdette Howard Johnson.

Branstrom, Elizabeth L., 92, formerly of Jamestown, died Feb. 9, 2000. She was born Apr. 8, 1907 in Jamestown, the daughter of Carl August and Charlotte Marie Anderson Nelson. Surviving are two daughters: Carol Miekina and Kathryn Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, John O. Branstrom; and a sister, Margarete Isaacson. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Felsman, Edward A., 83, of Brocton, died Feb. 10, 2000 in Westfield. He was born Aug. 14, 1917, the son of Edward F. and Helen Lindner Felsman. Surviving are his wife, Caroll Grace Felsman; a son, Michael E. Felsman; two brothers: Raymond and Clayton Robert Felsman; and a sister, Lenor Stewart. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Robert C. Felsman. Burial was in Portland Evergreen Cemetery.

Barlow, Wallace Homer, 75, of Bradenton, FL, died Feb. 8, 2000. He was born Dec. 2, 1924, the son of Wesley and Vesta Abbott Barlow. Surviving are his wife, Alice Emery Barlow; a daughter, Carol Clement; a son, Ross Barlow; and a sister, Doris Jones. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Cordner Barlow; a sister, Jean Barlow Hudson; and a brother Rodney Barlow.

Leasure, Josephine Mistretta, 91, died Feb. 10, 2000. She was born Sept. 22, 1908, the daughter of Mariano and Salvatrice Mingo Mistretta. Surviving is a son, Wayne Leasure. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley R. Leasure; and seven brothers: Philip, Joseph, Samuel, Anthony, Louis, Charles and James Mistretta; and two sisters: Mary Lavalle and Margaret Sardi. Burial was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Oste, Darlene E., 72, of Falconer, died Feb. 9, 2000. She was born Mar. 23, 1927, the daughter of Herbert C. and Hazel P. Anderson Carlson. Surviving are her husband, James A. Oste; a daughter, Chrissi Lyon; a son, Wayne Oste; and a sister, Lorraine DeBell. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery.

DeVinney, Bonnie L., Goodemote, 50, of Little Valley, died Feb. 9, 2000 in her home. She was born Mar. 20, 1949, the daughter of Joseph Goodemote and Mary Sargent. Surviving besides her parents are: two brothers: Mark and Todd Fuentes; and five sisters: Cindy Pennell, Cathy Jo Thompson, Robin Hill, Denise Goodemote, and Rebecca Jo Goodemote.

Stein, Frances C., 83, of Warren, died Feb. 6, 2000. She was born Dec. 6, 1916, the daughter of Max and Anna Wanshel. Surviving are two daughters: Beverly Pearl and Leslie Stein. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Stein; and one brother and a sister.
