KORR, IVY W.
Ivy W. Korr of Ossining died May 17, 2008, she was 86. She was born in Ossining May 9, 1922 to Charles & Martha (Pichen) Crowne. Ivy worked for Cambridge Inst. Co. and also at Brookside School as the lunch program manager. She was a member of Trinity Church. Ivy is survived by her sons Charles, Robert, Richard, Thomas, grandchildren Amanda, Janet, Jillian and sister Jennette Moeller. She was pre-deceased by her son John who died in 1987. A Requiem Mass will be held Tuesday 11AM at Trinity Church, Rev. Canon Charles Pridemore officiating.

SEDLMAYER, RALPH G. Sr.
Ralph G. Sedlmayer Sr. of Ossining died May 17, 2008 after a long battle with emphysema, he was 73. He was in born in Norwalk CT on March 19, 1935 to Ralph & Florence (Cackowski) Sedlmayer. Ralph served in the US Navy aboard a Destroyer during the Korean Conflict and belonged to the “Tin Can Sailors”. Ralph owned and managed several Service Stations on S. Highland Ave. during the 60’s and also worked for many years for W. H. Jackson Auto Sales, Dell Buick and Croton Dodge. He was a tropical fish enthusiast and owned S&S Aquarium Foods during the 80’s. Ralph also helped at the Village Pharmacy, enjoying the friendship of his co-workers and the community. He was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church, a member of the American Legion Post 506 and the Loyal Order of Moose. Ralph is survived by his beloved wife Rosemarie, loving children Kathi (Hank) Grossman, Ralph (April), James, Carole, adored grandchildren Danay, Amanda (Keith), Alison, Ralph, Jesse, Stephanie, Danielle, Brandi, Zachary, Jake, cherished great-grandchildren Jayda-Starr, Tyler and Hailey. He will be reposing Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10AM St. Ann’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Phelps Hospice appreciated.

CATERINO, ANNA
Anna Caterino of Ossining died May 5, 2008, she was 88. She was born March 1, 1920 in Italy to Raffaele & Maria Tomasso Petrone. Anna is survived by her son Albert of Cortlandt Manor, grandchildren Larry & Laura, great-grandchildren Kayla, Michael & Anthony, sisters Maria, Christine & Rita. She will be reposing Wed. 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of Christian Burial Thurs. 10AM St. Ann’s Church, entombment Ferncliff Mausoleum.

DeCRENZA, VIRGINIA
Virginia DeCrenza of Ossining died April 27, 2008 at the Victoria Home where she was a patient for one month. She was born in Ossining July 26, 1926 to Anthony & Rose Lamberti DeCrenza. Virginia is survived by her brother Joseph (Anne) DeCrenza, sisters Lucy Tomasulo, Florence and Carolyn DeCrenza, all of Ossining, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. She will be reposing Tues. 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. Funeral Home 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of Christian Burial Wed. 10AM St. Ann’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery.

CRAFT, REGINALD G.
Reggie Craft of Ossining died April 23, 2008, he was 92. He was born Nov. 4, 1915 in Ossining to Gustin & Evelina Craft. Reggie worked for many years at Hudson Wire as a Supervisor. He was a 70 plus year member of the Ossining Fire Dept., Monitor Hose Co. Reggie is survived by his wife Florence, son Robert (Barbara) Craft of Verplanck, daughters Jean (Gerald) Trizinsky & Diane Carson of Ossining, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He will be reposing Fri. 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining where services will be held at 8PM, interment private.

DiCUIRCI, SUSAN
Susan DiCuirci of Ossining died April 20, 2008, she was 88. She was born Aug. 16, 1919 in Ossining to George & Ella (Montrose) Vail. Susan worked for Cambridge Inst. Co. in Ossining for many years. She is survived by her son A. Thomas (Grace) DiCuirci, grandchildren Thomas DiCuirci and Carolyn Spiesicke, great-grandchildren Kyle, Joshua and Andrew. Susan was pre-deceased by her husband Armand and son Richard. She will be reposing Wed. 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining where services will be held Thurs. 11:30 AM, Rev. Holton officiating.

VELARDO, JOSEPH M.
Joseph M. Velardo, formerly of Ossining, died April 16, 2008, he was 76. Joe was born Feb. 7, 1932 in Ossining to Archangelo and Angelina Velardo. He worked for West. Co. Dept. of Environmental Facilities in Ossining as a Maintenance Supervisor. Joe was a life member of the Oss. Fire. Dept., Fire Police Co. He is survived by his sons Joseph Jr., Steven (Deborah), daughters Joyce (Graham) Brooks, Angela Velardo, Julie (George) Fairhurst, grandchildren Vanessa, Laura & Eric Brooks, Valerie, Jeffrey & Kayla Fairhurst, Joseph Velardo III, Stephanie (Drew) Clarke, Vincent Velardo, Steven Jr., Matthew, Sarah, Christopher and Daniel Velardo. He was pre-deceased by his wife Joyce, brothers Angelo, Celestino, sisters Madeline, Marian and Victoria He will be reposing Fri. 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. HERRMANN, WILLIAM LOUIS JR.
William L. Herrmann Jr. of Briarcliff Manor died suddenly on April 7th at his home in Delray Beach, FL. He was born December 17, 1924 in NYC to William and May Arnold Herrmann. William served in the US Army during WWII achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He worked for Con Edison for over 30 years as a General Foreman. He is survived by his wife Alice of Delray Beach, son William III (Gail) of Delray Beach, daughter Lorraine (Robert) Sesti of Briarcliff, grandchildren William IV, Matthew (Marilia), Kristen (Scott), Lauren (John) and great-granddaughter Nicole. Funeral Service will be held Saturday 11AM at St. Gregory’s Armenian Church 1131 North St. White Plains followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children’s Fund of St. Gregory’s Armenian Church at the above address appreciated. Under the direction of Leach & Thomas, Inc. ELBERT, ANTHONY PURCELL
Anthony Purcell Elbert of Ossining died April 6, 2008, he was 35. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on November 9, 1972 to Juanita Elbert and Anthony Hunter. Anthony worked at Atria Senior Citizens home in Briarcliff in the maintenance department. He is survived by his mother Juanita, grandmother Lilliewill, sisters Cynthia and Ivorine, aunts Annawill, Olemae, Annaflorence, Brabarajean, uncles Ozzie & Jerome, nephews Dale, Maurice, Jarcarke, DiYanie and 1 great-niece. A Service will be held Saturday 12PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. Funeral Home 32 State St. Ossining, interment will be private.

SHALLO, SUSAN (TUSSEL)
Susan (Tussel) Shallo of Hopewell Jct. died April 1, 2008 after a battle with cancer, she was 54. She was born in Ossining Jan. 3, 1954 to Raymond and Susan (DiCioccio) Tussel. Susan graduated from Newberry Jr. College and Berkley University. She worked for the Dover School District for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Susan is survived by her husband John, sons Anthony, Michael, John Jr., daughter Diane Gore, grandchildren Amanda & Zachary, brother Stephen Tussel, sisters Laurie Wertz and Janet Sallucci. She will be reposing Thursday 7-9PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of the Resurrection Saturday 10AM St. Ann’s Church, entombment Rose Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society appreciated.

Mandy Dias of Ossining died March 31, 2008 after a long battle with cancer, she was 78. She was born in Ossining February 11, 1930 to Frank and Ana Abrantes Silva. She worked for many years for the Mearle Corp. Mandy is survived by her husband Bill, daughters Lynn Sellazzo and Cynthia Villa, grandchildren Victoria Leigh Villa, Carissa Lynn Sellazzo, Gregory Daniel Sellazzo. She will be reposing Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of the Resurrection Thursday 10AM at St. Augustine’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
