HEINTZ, PETER J.
Peter J. Heintz, 67 of the Poughkeepsie, died at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on October 16, 2008. Peter was born in New Rochelle, NY on September 1, 1941 to the late Peter Heintz and Anne J. Nemeth. He graduated from New Rochelle High School in 1959 and Westchester Community College in 1964. Mr. Heintz married Sandra Burgess on September 9, 2004 in Poughkeepsie, NY. Mr. Heintz was employed by IBM and retired in 1992. He has resided in Poughkeepsie for 20 years, prior Brewster, NY. He was in the US Navy and a member of Brewster Elks BPOE 2102, an avid golfer and Mets fan. Mr. Heintz is survived by his wife, Sandra Heintz, Poughkeepsie; daughter Jacqueline Heintz, Ct; son and daughter in law, Michael P and Alfia Heintz, Stormville, NY; daughter Carolyn Butler, Patterson, NY; son and daughter-in-law Daniel T. and Lisa Heintz, Brewster, NY; sister Gizella Doyle, Mass; sister Louise Garrison, Mass; brother Stephen Heintz, CT; predeceased by a son in law, Jack Butler; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation on Sunday October 19, 2008 from 5 PM-8 PM at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY. Mass of Christian Burial St. Mary's Church on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 10:15 AM. Interment St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery, Brewster, NY.

IANNANTUONI, YOLANDA
Yolanda Marie Iannantuoni, age 52, of Yonkers, NY passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2008. Yolanda was born on November 6, 1955 in Yonkers, NY, daughter of Vincent "Jim" and the late Anne Marie Vetrano. She was employed by Marymount College in Tarrytown for nearly twenty years. She is survived by her longtime companion and "Love of her Life", John "Yogi" Vetrano, her son, Christopher, loving daughter-in-law Lorraine, granddaughter, Claire and Christopher's father William. She is also survived by her best friend, Joan Dalessandro, her uncle Leo Vetrano and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved aunt Angie and her first cousin Richard "RicK" DiCicco. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Monday October 20th at 11 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. MAXWELL, DAVID J.
David J. Maxwell of Sag Harbor, NY on October 10, 2008 in his 62nd year. Devoted son of the late William and Mary Agnes (Demsey) Maxwell. Beloved husband of the late May E. (Ash) Maxwell. Loving father of David J. Jr. of Ridge, NY. Dear brother of William (Eileen Hannema) Maxwell of Shelter Island, NY and Judith (David) Schultz of Glen Allen, VA. Mr. Maxwell is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. A graduate of Gorton H.S. in Yonkers, NY he was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne from 1965-68 and served in Vietnam 1967-68. With honor, dedication, loyalty, and integrity Mr. Maxwell was a firefighter for the City of Yonkers, NY Fire Department and retired in 2003 after 32 years. He was a member of the International Association of Firefighters-Local 628. In lieu of services, the Maxwell Family has requested that donations may be made in his memory to the American Lung Cancer Association of NY (online at Memorial donations - American Lung Cancer Association of NY) or American Cancer Society, 11225 Queens Blvd., Flushing, NY 11375.

Hazel DeMarchis, 87, of Irvington died at her home on Wednesday, November 16, 2010. She was born on April 9, 1923 in Yonkers NY to the late Anna Bennis and Earl Lewis. Her husband Valentino DeMarchis predeceased her in 1993. She is survived by two daughters Yvonne Misarti and Suzan Richter both of Newtown CT., three sons Ronald DeMarchis of Garrison NY, John DeMarchis of Big Flats, NY, and David DeMarchis of Ridgefield, CT., and fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Robert Lewis and sister Patricia Chiulli. Hazel began and successfully a developed a cosmetic company called "Desiree de Marchis" and had a large following for her products. She loved being with family and especially loved every new grandchild and great grandchild. She also loved her beach house at the Jersey Shore. For more then 40 years, her children and grandchildren had fond memories vacationing with Nana. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Arrangements will be handled by Hastings Funeral Home, 15 Spring St. Hastings-on-Hudson. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. A service of Christian Burial will be at The Church of Saint Barnabas in Irvington on Saturday at 11:00.

Susan Gutelius
Susan Gutelius of 352 Snyder Hill Road, Ithaca passed away peacefully at home, due to cancer, on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at the age of 55.
Born on August 13, 1947 in Ithaca, Sue was the daughter of Cecil and Marie Beardsley Mount. She graduated with honors from the Trumansburg High School and earned her B.S. degree (honors) in Education from SUNY Oswego. She also received her permanent certification for teaching.
Sue taught second grade at Pulaski for two years. She was a devoted teacher at St. Paul's Nursery School for eleven years (the last four years as director and head teacher). Sue loved working with young children, sharing in their enthusiasm and willingness to try new projects. She especially enjoyed reading to them, doing arts and crafts, circle games and songs.
In addition to her teaching at the Nursery School, St. Paul's Church was a vital part of Sue's life as she taught both Sunday School and Vacation Bible School and served on many committees. She also attended the Mary Durham Class on Sunday mornings for many years.
For over a decade Sue was busy sewing and designing many craft items including puppets, many of which were sold through her business, Best Beginnings. She also spent many hours tending her vegetable garden.
Sue is survived by her devoted husband of over 35 years, Jim Gutelius of Ithaca; a son Doug (Mandi) Gutelius of Enfield; a daughter, Jill Gutelius (Pete Williams) of Oswego; a sister, Gwen Mount (Alden) Head of Moorestown, NJ and numerous extended family members.
A Memorial Service and celebration of Sue's life will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 1, 2003 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Rebecca Dolch officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sue's memory may be directed to St. Paul's UMC, 402 N. Aurora St, Ithaca, NY 14850 or to Hospicare, 172 E. King Road, Ithaca, NY 14850.

Lukas Nathaniel Ball
Lukas Nathaniel Ball, 19 month old infant son of Angela Ball of 418 Cascadilla Street, Ithaca passed peacefully in his sleep and went safely home to God on Tuesday, February 11, 2003.
From the moment this precious boy was born on June 28, 2001 his warm, welcoming smile and cuddle-hungry hugs brightened the lives of everyone around him. Lukas was a loving, sensitive and caring boy with boundless energy who loved to praise and worship Jesus through Gospel music. Embracing life head-on he danced, threw his little football, jumped around in his ball-pit, swam and continually exercised his beautiful sense of humor which never failed to warm your heart and make you smile.
Lukas is survived by his mother, Angela Ball of Ithaca; his father, James Harris of Woodhull; his wonderful big sister, Hannah Lecoq of Ithaca; maternal grandparents, Harold and CarolLee Ball of Interlaken; paternal grandmother, L. Harris of Dryden; maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Niver of Ithaca; uncle "Fuzz" & aunt Nicole Ball; uncle Brian Niver; aunt Charlotte Richardson; aunt Jennifer Reynolds and family; uncle Joe & aunt Dot Bennett; great-aunt Patricia Ball; great-uncles Donald Ball and Charles Niver; a host of additional relatives both near and far, countless friends and precious playmates including the following special people and their families: Doug Lecoq, Csiko, Rashida and Ilana Sawyer, Steve and Kathy Moyer, Betrina Niver and family, Terry and Connie Moore, Pastor Theodore and Beverly Craig, Paul and Helen Ditmars and William Lange and Barb Hazard. "It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go to heaven alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home".
Services will be held at the First Baptist Church on East Seneca Road in Trumansburg on Saturday, February 15, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Elder C. E. Sawyer and the Rev. Pete Hood officiating. The family will be present to receive their friends in the church hall immediately following the service.

Elsie C. Schmidt
Elsie C. Schmidt of 8 Strowbridge St., Trumansburg passed away at home while surrounded by family on Thursday, April 24, 2003 at the age of 73.
Born in Germany on August 27, 1929, Elsie was the daughter of Eric and Carla Sanner.
She was employed by Cornell University for 35 years before her retirement. When not working Elsie could often be found in the garden, showering her cats with affection or simply watching the wildlife around her. She also had a deep-seated love for Panda's as was evidenced by the extensive collection throughout her home.
Elsie is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Hans George Schmidt, Jr.; a daughter, Rubie Sievers of Binghamton; 3 grandchildren, Patrick Estelle and Ryan and Justin Sievers; a brother, Erhard Sanner of Germany; a cousin Carla (Butch) Baldwin of Florida and several additional cousins in Germany including Thomas Hennig; her faithful cat companion Pinky and many friends.
Services will be held at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South St., Trumansburg on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Pete Hood officiating. Prayers of committal will follow at the Grove Cemetery.
The family will be present to receive their friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
