Hillary Brie Smith of Horseheads, N.Y. and Andrew Ryan Sommer, formerly of Orchard Park N.Y., were married on Sunday May 22, 2005 at Wakefield Chapel in Annadale, VA. The 11 a.m. ceremony was performed by Daniel Worral, friend of the groom. The bride is the daughter of Lori Avery of Boca Raton, FL and Joel Smith of E. Stroudsberg, PA and granddaughter of Roger and Margaret Tucker of Horseheads, and June Smith of Stroudsberg. She graduated from Horseheads High School and the University of Rochester and is currently working for the Justice Department in Falls Church, VA. The groom is the son of Kenny-Linn and Peter Sommer of Orchard Park, N.Y. and the grandson of Kenneth Stroudt of Woodbridge, VA and Evelyn Sommer of Williamsville, N.Y. He graduated from the University of Rochester and George Mason University of Law in Washington, D.C. and is currently employed at Howrey LLP in Washington D.C. The matron of honor was Shannon Majiros, cousin of the bride, of Horseheads. The best man was Adam Pratt, friend of the groom. After a reception at Maggiano's in McLean, VA, the couple honey mooned with a cruise to Alaska and British Columbia. They now reside in Centreville, VA.
