Alissa Marie Bovee of Waterloo, NY and Stephen Andrew Terry of Watkins Glen, NY were married on July 24, 2004 at the Sage Chapel, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY by Deacon Dan Hurley and Reverend Cora Booth. Alissa is the daughter of Frances Bovee and the late James Bovee of Waterloo. The bride received a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Cornell University in 2002. She is currently a graduate student at Johns Hopkins studying Genetic Counseling. Stephen is the son of John and Dr. Cynthia Terry of Watkins Glen. The bridegroom received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering from Cornell University in 2002. He is currently employed at Capital One. Matron of honor was the sister of the bride, Stephanie Mayne and attendants were Cassie Pinkard, Melissa Batista, Fariba Yassaee, Jayme Buck and Jaclyn Yonkers. The flower girl was Miranda Deane. The best man was the brother of the groom, David Terry and the groomsmen were Peter Dugo, Rafael Landi, Andrew Lastowka, Matthew Jarrett and Stephen Yonkers. The ring bearer's were Adrian and Andre Pinkard. A reception was held at Wagner Winery in Lodi, NY. After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple reside in Washington, DC.
