Mr. and Mrs. William J. Yackel are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Ellen Yackel to Andrew Patterson, son of Elizabeth and Ivor Patterson of Chirnside, Berwickshire, Scotland. The Bride-elect is a graduate of Corning East High School and received her B.A. from Oklahoma City University. She is currently employed as the manager of Barnes and Noble Booksellers in Big Flats, New York. Her fiance is a graduate of Manchester University in Manchester, England with a degree in Artificial Intelligence. He is currently employed as an IT Consultant with Ataway Integrated Systems of Paris, France. The wedding will take place on October 15, 2005 at the Lodi Historical Society Church with a reception following at Logan Ridge Winery.
