GOODWIN - 50TH

Patricia and John Goodwin of Elmira, New York marked their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration in Naples, Florida on February 20th, 2005. On Saturday, March 19th, 2005, their family hosted a reception to honor this momentous milestone. Mr. John Goodwin and the former Patricia Young were married February 20, 1955 by the Rev. Edgar Sabin at the Methodist Church in Towanda, Pennsylvania. The couple has four children. They are John Goodwin of Houston, Texas; Christopher Goodwin of San Diego, California; William Goodwin of Horseheads, New York; and James Goodwin of Elmira, New York. There are also six grandchildren. Mr. Goodwin is retired from the Elmira City School District and Mrs. Goodwin is active in real estate.
