Rebecca Lynn Kotacska and John Zachary Palmer, both of Winston Salem, NC were married August 28, 2004 at Belhurst Castle in Geneva, NY. The 4:00 pm ceremony was performed by Rev. Dr. Robert O. Sherburne. The Bride, daughter of Ro and Larry Kotacska of Big Flats, NY is a 1997 graduate of Horseheads High School; a 2001 graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC; and is currently a fourth year medical student at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Rebecca will graduate in May of 2005 and will pursue a residency in emergency medicine. The Groom, son of Sue and Bill Palmer of Camden, NY is a 1997 graduate of Camden High School in Camden, NY and a 2001 graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC. John is currently Sports Editor for the Elkin Tribune in Elkin, NC. The Maid of Honor was Tara Barrett of Albany, NY with Erica Drake of Baltimore, MD; Kelly Herdrich of Columbia, MD; and Meg Ackley of Charlotte, NC, all friends of the Bride, as Bride's attendants. Readers for the ceremony were Kristi and Alyssa Gioino, cousins of the Bride. John Cooper of Charlotte, NC served as Best Man while Brian Kotacska (brother of the Bride) of New York, NY; Anthony Nicastro of Winston Salem, NC; and Mike Capizzoni of Winston Salem, NC served as Groomsmen. The Ring Bearer was Richie Paul of Camden, NY. The reception was also held at the Belhurst Castle in Geneva, NY. After a honeymoon to the Marriott Resort, St. Kitts, in the Caribbean, the couple resides in Winston Salem, NC.
