Jillian Renee Luther and David Rex Rodgers, both of Raleigh, NC were married September 5, 2004 at Temple B'nai Israel in Elmira, NY. The noon ceremony was performed by Rabbi Miriam Biatch. The Bride, daughter of Stuart and Barbara Luther of Elmira, NY is a graduate of Elmira Free Academy in Elmira, NY; received her BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY; and received her JD in Law School at University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. She is currently a Senior Labor Relations Consultant with Sprint in Wake Forest, NC. The Groom, son of Rex and Laurea Rodgers of Henderson, NV is a graduate of Chaparall High School in Las Vegas, NV; received his BS in Physical Education from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX; and is currently employed in Off Premise Sales at Long Beverage in Morrisville, NC. The Matron of Honor was Julie Flynn Turkel, childhood friend of the Bride of North Bellmore, NY. Jennifer Luther Verity (sister of the Bride) of Pelham, NY; Erin Amidon (friend of the Bride) of Corning, NY; and Annie Rodgers (sister of the Groom) of Henderson, NV served as Bride's attendants. Flower Girl was Morgan Lampman (great-niece of the Bride) of Elmira, NY. Best Man was Ernie Rodgers (brother-in-law of the Groom) of Henderson, NV with John Luther of Farmington, MI; Jeff Luther of Overland Park, KS; and Joel Luther of Denver, CO (all brothers of the Bride) serving as Groomsmen. Seven Prayers were recited by Ian Lampman (nephew of the Bride) of Elmira, NY; Melissa Bracken (niece of the Groom) of Las Vegas, NV; Taylor Luther (nephew of the Bride) of Overland Park, KS; Shelbie Rodgers (niece of the Groom) of Henderson, NV; Kylie Luther (niece of the Bride) of Overland Park, KS; and Samuel Verity (nephew of the Bride) of Pelham, NY. Ketubah witnesses and signers were Janice Weisenfeld and Sheila Rachlin, both of Elmira, NY. Kelsey Amidon of Corning, NY was the greeter. The bridal party and parents rode to the Fontainebleau Inn in Alpine, NY in the Elmiran Trolley. The reception took place at the Fontainebleau and was catered by Red Newt Wine Cellars Bistro in Hector, NY. The wedding and reception were photographed by Rick Bacmanski. After a honeymoon to Grand Cayman and Belize, the couple resides in Raleigh, NC.
