Heather Marie Albee and Jason Mathew Wood of Killeen, Texas were married at 5:30pm on July 26th at Marriage Island on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Bride's best friend, Reverend Zach LaBagh of Gettysburg, PA. The Bride is the daughter of Larry and Yvonne Albee and Rene and Nick DiBartolomeo of Elmira, NY. Parents of the Groom are Brad and Leeda Wood of Mission, Texas and Barbara and Sam Gray of McAllen, Texas. Debbie DiBartolomeo, Sister of the Bride, was Maid of Honor. Chrisi Naber, the Bride's paternal Aunt, was Matron of Honor. Both are from Elmira. Best Man was Milan (Mo) Skala of San Antonio and Groomsman was Luis Delgado of Killeen. Ring Bearers were the Groom's sons, Timothy and Nicholas Wood of Edinburg, Texas. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Charles Court courtyard at Boudro's, followed by a candlelight dinner held downstairs in the Zinc wine cellar. The Bride graduated from Southside High School in Elmira in 1999 and attended Corning Community College. She has served in the U.S. Army since 2001 as a Specialist in Military Intelligence. The Groom is a 1994 graduate of Sharyland High School in Mission, has served in the U.S. Army for 11 years, and is a Staff Sergeant in Military Intelligence. The couple are stationed for three years with the U.S. Army in Germany and are scheduled for deployment to Iraq in the fall of 2003.
