Melissa Marie Sawyer and John Michael Heimback Jr. both of Buffalo, NY will be married on May 21, 2005 at St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church at 1:30 by Father Chuck Slisz. The bride-elect is the daughter of Diane Sawyer of Athens, PA and the late William Sawyer of Elmira, NY. Melissa is a Southside High School Graduate of 1990, an Associates of Science from Corning community College, and a Bachelor of Exercise Science from State University at Buffalo. She is employed as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist at Cardiology Group of Western NY. The groom-elect is the son of John and Mary Ann Heimback Sr. of Buffalo, NY and the grandson of Leo and Mary Auriemma. John has a Bachelor of Science from Canisius College and is employed as Senior Financial Analyst at M & T Bank. The wedding party will be Hillary Sawyer as maid of honor and Leslie Sawyer, Lindsay Sawyer, Vicki Evans, Karyn Hodge, Cathy Heimback as bride-elects attendants, with Zoe Derr as Flower Girl. Dan Walbesser, will be best man and Chris Reo, Edward Schaffer, Andy Jones, Mike Mulay, and Andy Stout as Groomsmen. The reception will be held at Samuels Grand Manor in Clarence, NY and the couple will live in Buffalo, NY after the ceremony.
