Miss Raeonna Renee Bennett, formerly of Elmira, NY, currently of Ambler, PA and Mr. Brian Keith Tiede, formerly of Elmira, currently of Philadelphia, PA were married October 18, 2003 at First Baptist Church of Elmira, NY. A formal ceremony took place at 4:00 pm with the Reverend Daniel Schmidt officiating. The Bride is the daughter of Mr. Gerald F. Jr. and Mrs. Ranakay L. Bennett of Elmira, NY and granddaughter of the late Mrs. Billie Jean Silver Lovelace (Maternal Grandmother) of Elmira, NY; Mrs. Margaret Schliebener and the late Joseph Schliebener (Paternal Grandparents) of Owego, NY; the late Mr. Coy J. and Nellie M. Silver (Maternal Great-Grandparents) of Elmira, NY; and the late Mr. John P. Sparduti of Sayre, PA who, with love and compassion accomplished recognition as Grandpa John. Raeonna is a 1998 graduate of Thomas A. Edison High School in Elmira Heights, NY. She studied Computer Science at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA and is presently in her final year of completing her Bachelor's of Science degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics at Temple in Philadelphia, PA. The Groom is the son of Ms. Sharon Watts of Horseheads, NY and Mr. Keith Tiede of Millport, NY and grandson of Mrs. Joy Watts and the late Norman L. Watts Sr. (Maternal Grandparents) of Big Flats, NY. Brian is a 1996 graduate of Horseheads High School in Horseheads, NY. In 2002, he received his Bacheloršs of Science degree in Architecture at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Currently he is employed as an Architect at Friday Architects in Philadelphia, PA. The Maid of Honor was Miss Brynn Lee Bennett (Sister of the Bride) of Elmira, NY. Matron of Honor was Mrs. Keri (Bennett) Grant (Sister of the Bride) of Columbia, SC. Miss Jenrie Bennett (Sister of the Bride) of Elmira, NY; Miss Nellie Bennett (Sister of the Bride) of Elmira, NY; Mrs. Lisa Crooker (Friend of the Bride) of Charlottesville, VA; and Mrs. Stefanie Aird (Cousin of the Bride) of Richmond, VA served as Bridešs attendants. The Bride's Junior attendants were Miss Kilynn Bennett (Sister of the Bride) of Elmira, NY and Miss Kali Grant (Niece of the Bride) of Columbia, SC. Flower Girl was Little Miss BreAriel Jean Bennett (Sister of the Bride) of Elmira, NY and Ring Bearer was Master Solomon Hunter Field Bennett (Brother of the Bride) of Elmira, NY. The Best Men were Mr. Craig Beers (Friend of the Groom) of San Francisco, CA and Mr. Patrick Sullivan (Friend of the Groom) of Ohio. Mr. Gerald F. Bennett III ŗBubby˛ (Brother of the Bride) of Elmira, NY; Mr. Todd G. Bennett (Brother of the Bride) of Horseheads, NY; Mr. Jeffrey E. Bennett (Brother of the Bride) of Elmira Heights, NY; and Mrs. Cory J. Bennett (Brother of the Bride) of Horseheads, NY served as Groomsmen. The Junior Groomsmen were Master Matthew and Master Bradley Beyers (Special Friends of the Bride and Groom) of Hillsborough, NJ. The reception was held at the Corning Country Club in Corning, NY. After a honeymoon trip to Helen and Atlanta, GA, the couple resides in Ambler, PA. A first year anniversary celebration will take place with an extended trip to Paris, France.
