Sharon Elaine Earls of Bentley Creek, PA, and Brian Alan Champaign of Bentley Creek, were married December 6, 2002 at the Borough of Athens Municipal Building, Athens, PA. The ceremony was performed at 11:00 a.m. by the Honorable George C. Whyte, Mayor of the Borough of Athens. The Bride, daughter of Donna J. and William P. Earls of Bentley Creek, and granddaughter of Eunice Nichols of Milan, PA, received her B.S. from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. She also received her Master of Special Education degree from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. She is currently employed as a sixth grade teacher in the Athens Area School District. The Groom, son of Nancy L. and Darold F. Champaign of Wellsburg, NY, received his B.S.S. from The Pennsylvania State University. He also received his Master of Public Administration degree from The Pennsylvania State University. He is currently employed as chief of police of the Athens Borough Police Department. The private ceremony was attended by the parents of the Bride and Groom. A reception was held at Tomassoís Restaurant, Waverly, NY. After a honeymoon in Orlando, FL, the couple resides in Bentley Creek.
