WHITTAKER - PETERSON

Kathleen Whittaker and Richard Peterson Jr., both of Elmira, were married August 17, 2002 at St. John's Episcopal Church. The 5 PM ceremony was performed by Father Love. The Bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Whittaker of Horseheads, is a graduate of Corning Community College. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at Elcor Health Services in Horseheads. The Groom, son of Mrs. Jane Peterson of Elmira and Mr. Richard Peterson of Beaver Dams and grandson of Serafino Peterson of Elmira Heights, os self employed as a contractor for Whitetail Construction. The Matron of Honor was Susie Eustace. The Bride's attendants were Jackie Whittaker, Heather Spaulding, Kerry Fayant, Cindy Wood, Pan Cram, Jen Gray and Tara Cram. The Flower Girl was Alison Eustace. The Best Man was Ray Forker. The Groomsmen were Bob Daugherty, Matt Herman, Jody Leonard, Jim Eustace, Jim Whittaker II, Scott Place, Michael McLaughlin and Mike Ontl. A reception was held at the Italian American Veterans Club. After a honeymoon in Ocean City, Maryland, the couple resides in Elmira.
