FERNAAYS - McCLURE

Ali Kristen Fernaays and Steven James McClure both of Frederick, MD were married September 13, 2003 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Penfield, NY. The 4:00 p.m. ceremony was performed by Pastor William Flammann. The Bride is the daughter of Alan and Charlene Fernaays of Fairport, NY and Norma and William Durnell of Holiday, FL and granddaughter of Ida McDermott of Wilmington, NC. She received her Associates Degree from Finger Lakes Community College in 1993 and attended St. John Fisher College. Currently, she is pursuing a degree in secondary education and is employed by Holiday Inn in Frederick as Guest Services Rep. The Groom is the son of James and Carol McClure of Elmira, NY and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Pesoli of Corning, NY and Mrs. Mary McClure and the late Robert McClure of Corning. He received his B.S. from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1999 with a degree in Hotel/Resort Management and a minor in Food Management. Currently he is employed as Banquet Manager at the Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg, MD. The Matron of Honor was Stacie Swarner. Bride's attendants were Julie McClure (Groom's Sister); Shelly Agne (Bride's Cousin); Emily Julian; Jessica Monsour; and Kate Stathis. The Flower Girl was Sarah Grace Fernaays (Bride's Sister) and Ring Bearer was Eric Durnell (Bride's Brother). Best Man was David Meade. Groomsmen were Greg Fernaays (Bride's Brother), Arthur Smith; Ed Fairbrother; Mike Chimileski; and Bill Meyers. The reception was held at the Rochester Marriott Airport. After a honeymoon to Hilton Head Island, SC the couple reside in Frederick.
