Brenda Slater of Pine City, NY and Joshua Moshier both of Elmira, NY were married June 21, 2003 at Bethany Lutheran Church. The 2:30 pm ceremony was performed by Reverend Antoinette Cassler. The Bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Slater of Pine City and granddaughter of Mrs. Ina Slater of Elmira, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Messing of Pine City and the late Leonard Slater. She is a graduate of Elmira College. The Groom is the son of Jim and Marla Gannon of Pine City and Gary Moshier of Corning, NY and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin BeGell and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Moshier. He is employed by IMAST Scanner Services. The Matron of Honor was Wendy Slater-Stedge (Sister of the Bride). Bride's attendants were Sarah Lambert, Carrie Templeton, Jamie Dotts, and Rachel Moshier. Flower Girl was Gabrielle Moshier (Niece of the Groom) and Ring Bearer was Zackarie Stedge (Nephew of the Groom). The Best Men were Travis Moshier and John Gannon (Brothers of the Groom). Groomsmen were Michael Dotts, Russell Andrews, and Patrick Dotts. The reception was held at the Elmira College Campus Center. After a honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica the couple resides in Elmira.
