Roger Lamb's obituary:

Roger Seamore Lamb, 86, of Ulster, Smithfield Township, Pa., died peacefully Thursday evening, July 5, 2018 at the Athens Health and Rehabilitation Center in Athens, Pa. Roger was born October 13, 1931, in the home where he remained for his entire life, the son of Albert W. Lamb and Adis Lattimer Lamb who was a farmer and school teacher. Hard work and education were a very important part of Roger's life. Roger was a carpenter, farmer, construction worker, and a wonderful husband to Annabelle (Slocum) Lamb for 64-and-a-half years. The couple were married on October 30, 1953. He was a great father to their nine children and taught them wonderful things. Roger was a 1949 graduate of East Smithfield High School. He purchased the family dairy farm from his father in February of 1959 and constructed a new milking parlor with the assistance of his family in 1972. In 1975, Roger handed the farm down to his sons, Timothy and Patrick who continued the dairy until 2016 when they began raising beef cattle. Roger loved his Minneapolis Moline tractors, tinkering and fixing them himself, and attending many farm shows and steam pageants with his wife Annabelle.
