YOUNGS - NELSON

Kelli Renee Youngs and Steven Douglas Nelson were married on August 9, 2003 at St. Mary's Church in Elmira, NY. The 2pm ceremony was performed by Father Richard Farrell. The Bride is the daughter of Terry and Bonnie Youngs of Pine City, NY and the granddaughter of Beatrice Barron of Elmira; Philip Youngs of Pine City and the late Jackson Barron and Joyce Youngs. She is a graduate of Nortre Dame High School and Corning Community College and is currently pursing her degree in Education from Elmira College. The Groom is the son of Douglas and Carolyn Nelson of Pine City and the grandson of Gloria and Charles Reddon of Spring Hills, FL; Agnes Nelson of Elmira and the late Robert Jacobs and Williams Nelson Sr. He is a graduate of Southside High School and attended Pennsylvania College of Technology and is currently employed at Quality Welding Supply. The Maid of Honor was Barbara Chalk of Oswego, NY. The Bride's attendants were Sabrina Barron of Hampton, VA; Shannon Schwartz of Elmira Heights, NY; Suzanne Bassett of Cayuta, NY; Kelley Stage of Henderson, NV; Aimee Barron of Elmira; Angela Payne of Horseheads, NY; and Kelly Reese of Pine City. The Best Man was Jacob Reese of Pine City. Groomsmen were Kyle Youngs, Keith Youngs, and Kevin Youngs all of Pine City; Joseph Barron also of Pine City; Brian Silvers of Elmira; Michael Klossner of Corning, NY; and Craig Decker of Elmira. The Flower Girls were Sierra and Taylor Felix of Elmira. Ring Bearer was Jacob Klossner of Corning. Readers were Amy Klossner, Jennifer Jacobs and Mark Youngs. Shianna Ogden and Sajha Barron served as greeters. The reception was held at the Elmira College Campus Center in Elmira. After their honeymoon to Paradise Island in the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Elmira.
