Orville A. Miller
ANDOVER - Orville Albert Miller, 78, died Monday, May 21, 2001, in Miller Memorial Health Care Center.
Mr. Miller was born Oct. 23, 1922, in Charleston, W.Va., the son of Albert Siggle and Letha Null Miller. He was formerly of Bancroft, W. Va.
Survivors include two sisters, Virginia Rossic and Lillian Danman; and two brothers, Guy O. Miller and Don E. Miller.
Service was Thursday at the Gatens Funeral Home, Poca, W.Va.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Ruth V. Heath
ANDOVER - Ruth V. Heath, 85 a resident of Andover, died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at her home.
Born on April 1, 1918, in Unus, WV, she was the daughter of Hayes W. and Eve F. (Sites) Kisamore.
A longtime Andover resident, Mrs. Heath was employed for over 18 years with Baumgardner's Furniture Co. and Baumgardener Funeral Home in Andover. She was also employed by optometrist Dr. James Halton in Andover for 8 years.
Mrs. Heath was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Andover and Percy D. Hyatt Post #226 American Legion Auxiliary. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed flowers, gardening, and traveling.
Mrs. Heath married her husband, William R. Heath on March 11, 1939. He died on Oct. 10, 1992. She was also preceded in death by parents; sisters; Mary Niles, Gola Holcomb, Ethel Thomas, Flossie Winch; 2 infant sisters, and brothers Oliver and Byron Kisamore.
Survivors are son, Douglas L. Heath of Salem, daughter, Sharon E. Elteto of Portland, OR, sister, Nina E. Heath of Andover, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at 10: a.m.. at BAUMGARDNER FUNERAL HOME, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio, with Rev. Jeffery W. Stoll officiating. Burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2003 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Annabel L. McNeilly
ANDOVER - Annabel L. McNeilly, 75, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at her home.
She was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Greene Township, the daughter of Archie R. Snyder and Emma L. (Kreig) Snyder.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. McNeilly was manager of the former Jefferson Savings and Loan Co., which became People's Savings and Loan, for more than 25 years. She retired in 1990.
She was a member of the Andover Church of Christ, where she was active as a Sunday school teacher, was a member of the Marys and Marthas women's group, and was in the church choir. She also participated in the Williamsfield Mothers Club.
She married Fred W. McNeilly May 1, 1946.
She enjoyed golfing, sewing, crafts, recreational vehicle travel, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Fred W. McNeilly Jr. of Copperas, Texas, and LeRoy H. McNeilly of Andover; a sister, Norma J. Armstrong of Palm Bay, Fla.; three granddaughters, Cynthia Witkowski of Floyds Knobs, Ind., Jennifer Cruise of Lompoc, Calif., and Jodi Heath of Andover; two grandsons, Brad McNeilly-Anta of Whitehouse Station, N.J., and Jared McNeilly of Andover; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Leah Snyder, Cecile Snyder and Marian Dulka; and three brothers, Robert, William and Warren Snyder.
Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Andover Church of Christ, Stilman Avenue, Andover, with the Rev. Robert C. Gears officiating.
Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Hayes Cemetery, Wayne Township.
The Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, is in charge of arrangements.

William H. Clingerman
ANDOVER - William H. Clingerman, 72, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002, at Lake Hospital Systems in Willoughby. He was born Feb. 22, 1930 in Elkins, W.Va., the son of Denver and Edith (Wilt) Clingerman.
He lived in Andover for two years and lived in Mentor for 41 years.
Mr. Clingerman was a mechanic for White Motors for 20 years and retired from Ericson Manufacturing in Willoughby six years ago.
Mr. Clingerman married Mary Ann Gillenkirk on Nov. 27, 1950 in Oakland, Md.
He was a member of Aerie Eagles #2278 in Painesville and enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Clingerman of Andover, a daughter, Elaine Davenport of Crossville, Tenn., two sons, William M. Clingerman of Madison and David B. Clingerman of Willoughby; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two sisters, Reba Vandevander of Middlefield and Susan Albright of Windsor Township; and three brothers, Donald Clingerman of Crossville, Tenn., Jerry Clingerman of Benton Harbor, Mich. and Joe Clingerman of Anderson, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Service is 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, which is located on Route 44, 500 feet south of route 6 in Chardon Square.
Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.

Walter F. Buterbaugh, Sr.
ANDOVER - Walter F. Buterbaugh, Sr., 84, of West Main Street, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, at St. Paul Homes Health Center, West Salem, Pa. He was born Jan. 2, 1918 in Burnside, Pa., the son of Jacob L. and Violet (Thompson) Buterbaugh.
Formerly of Burghill, Mr. Buterbaugh had be an Andover resident since 1962. He owned and operated the Lighthouse Tavern in Andover for over 29 years. He also worked for Shenango Inc. of Sharpsville, Pa., as a foreman for 43 years, retiring in 1980.
Mr. Buterbaugh was a member of Greenville Moose Lodge #276, the Hartford Grange for more than 25 years and volunteered for the Hartford Fire Department. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and reading. He married Isaphene S. Wright on June 2, 1962.
Survivors include his wife, Isaphene of Greenville, Pa., two sons, Walter F. Buterbaugh, Jr. of Sharpsville, Pa. and Phillip A. Buterbaugh of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Jean O. George of Winter Garden, Fla. and Phyllis A. Dullck of Sharon, Pa., a stepdaughter, Donna Drnek of Adamsville, PA., a stepson, John L. Walk, Jr. of Greenville, Pa., two sisters, Kathryn Howard of Richland, Mo. and Elizabeth Clark of Harmony, Pa., a half brother, Arthur Lydic of Penn Run, Pa., a half sister, Ruth Myers of Sharon, Pa., two stepbrothers, Chester Lydic of Commodore, Pa. and James Lydic of Uniontown, Pa.; 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Arthur W. Lydic, two sons, John Buterbaugh and William L. Buterbaugh, Sr.; an infant sister, a half brother, Dwight Lydic and a stepbrother, Gene Lydic.
Service is 11 a.m. Monday at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, with the Rev. Jeffrey W. Stoll, officiating. Burial will follow in Stevenson Cemetery, Greenville, Pa.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Margaret P. Higgins
ANDOVER - Margaret P. Higgins, 84, of Creek Road, died Thursday, July 26, 2001, at Miller Memorial Health Care Center, Andover.
She was born Oct. 8, 1916, in Cleveland, the daughter of Richard and Grace (Jones) Perry.
Formerly of Avon Lake, Mrs. Higgins had lived in the Andover area since 1978.
She was employed as a teacher for the West Park area St. Patrick's School in Cleveland for many years.
She married Leo T. Higgins on June 4, 1938.
Mrs. Higgins enjoyed crocheting, quilting and watching sports on television.
Survivors include two daughters, Suzanne H. Morris of Andover and Kathleen Salerno of Mentor; a sister, Iona Lemisky of Chatham, Ontario, Canada; two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1973 and two sons, Thomas and Michael.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family for the church building fund.
Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, has charge of the arrangements.

Clifton L. Smith
OKEECHOBEE, Fla. - Clifton L. Smith, 90, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at the Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Fla.
He was born April 8, 1910 in Ashtabula, the son of Owen and Mary (Anderson) Smith, and had lived in the Ashtabula area most of his life before moving to Florida.
He owned C.L. Smith Top and Body Shop, Ashtabula, until his retirement in 1976.
Mr. Smith was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of BPOE 3208 in Ashtabula, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 943 of Ashtabula, Glen Ross Chapter 39, the East Ashtabula Club, Commandery 52 of Ashtabula, the AL Koran Shrine, the Harbor Lodge 558 F&AM, and he was a past member of the El Kadir Grotto.
His hobby was playing cards.
Surviving him is his wife, Frances Heasley Smith of Okeechobee, Fla.; a son, Lester of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Lou M. Johnson and Barbara Smith-Antoline, both of Ashtabula; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Elliott of Ashtabula.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Ociebell Grandbouch.
At Mr. Smith's request, there will be no service.
The Ross-Billman Funeral Home, 526 Prospect Road, Ashtabula, is in charge of arrangements.
